Answer: This is a universal kit it should work I bought one couple years back saved me so much money so far it actually paid for itself twice

Answer: It uses a 7/8" socket, and a breaker bar would help you alot too. If you own a shop then this is perfect, if not and just want to service your own car do make sure that the ball joints on your car are pressable (NOT PERMANENTLY PRESSED - you'd just have to replace the whole control arm and not need this kit)

Answer: Don't know and can't see any 'Made in the USA' stampings on the components. All I know is that it's built very well, it's strong, and does the job without any problems. Configuring the components to press in/out is a challenge, but I was able to get it to work as advertised. There is a manual that comes with the kit to help out with the configurations. I would definitely recommend this kit!

My guess is you are the agitator as you mix whatever you intend to spray in a separate container. I did not catch this in the product description, its not in the product-unless you consider the pump the agitator? I would contact the Oregon Company and pose the same question directly to them.

Answer: I guess you can't be sure unless you find one you can buy local to you, but I bought mine here (fwiw, seller was Tooltopia) Sept 2016 and it says 'Made in USA' right on the C-Clamp. As I understand it, a couple years back OTC sent production of this press overseas and the quality suffered and it's since been brought back to the US since. Last I looked all of the reviews here saying they got one that was not Made in USA are not the most recent.

Answer: I used it to change the ball joints on my 2005 dodge ram 2500 4x4. It did work, but it was a little tight, we had to improvise a little bit when pressing out the old joints. you will want to have a couple of spare steel plates or big washers to help when space is tight.

Question: Is this kit durable enough for service on a 3/4 ton
Answer: Yes, I do not see any reason why you can't service a 3/4 ton vehicle. Pullers are plenty stout. I have never tried it, the question I would have is if the 3/4 ton parts are of a size that cannot fit in the dimensions of the tools. Most of the 3/4 ton stuff is only slightly larger, the main difference are spring rates.

Answer: OTC is owned by Bosch. They make things in 3 countries. In the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Ive been using OTC tools on a daily basis for 25 years and have NEVER had a bad one. OTC is a brand you can bank on it being a quality tool. They make things for many, many other companies. Several manufacturers and several tool companies. Snap on and Mac being a couple of them. Im on the Snap On truck every Friday and have compared many things over the years and have even found identical mold or casting marks on Snap On tools that my OTC tools have. ( I wouldn't have a MAC tool thrown at me these days) I dropped the $ for the OTC race and bearing driver master set 20 something years ago and its not failed me yet.

Answer: Yes that's actually what it's designed for. I've used them plenty of times on Chevy's, Ford's, and Dodge's. Pretty sure it'll work on a ton of other makes and models too. Just a hint, if the pitman arm doesn't pop off with just the puller just install the puller nice and tight and hit the pitman arm with an air chisel, mainly because of rust.

Answer: Awfull. Refused warranty on fuel gauge less than 8 months old, cant get parts for my $1100 transmission jack or my $1600 power train lift.

Answer: Your front wheel bearing is a replaceable hub, you do not replace the bearing by itself. As far as the rear goes, I do not believe this will work.

To Remove a Ball Joint

1. Assemble the Ball Joint Press over the vehicle's control arm. Select the correct size Receiving Tube (3,4,or 5), and position it under the vehicle's ball joint.

2. Place the Removal Adapter between the Receiving Tube and the Jackscrew .

3. Then, place the Installation Adapter between the top of the ball joint and the Ball Joint Press.

4. Tifhten the Jackscrew until the Receiving Tube contacts the vehicle's control arm.

5. Check the alignment of all the Ball Joint Kit parts, and continue tightening the Jackcrew until the vehicle's ball joint is removed.

To Install a Ball Joint

1. Clean the vehicle's control arm, and coat the inside diameter of the control arm with a light lubricant.

2. Insert the replacement ball joint as straight as possible into the vehicle's control arm.

3. Assemble the Ball Joint Press over the vehicle's control arm. Select the correct size Receiving Tube and position it on top of the vehicle's control arm.

4. Place the Installation Adapter between the Receiving Tube and the Ball Joint Press. Then, place the Removal Adapter between the ball joint and the Jackscrew.

5. Check the alignment of all the Ball Joint Kit parts. Then, tighten the Jackscrew until the vehicle's ball joint is firmly sealed.

To Remove and Install Brake Anchor Pins

1. To remove the brake anchor pins, remove all lock ring retainers from the Brake Anchor Pins.

2. Position the Ball Joint Press over the brake spider.

3. Tighten the Jackscrew until the anchor pins can be removed.

4. To install the brakke anchor pins, insert the brake anchor pins. Then reinstall the lock ring retainers on the brake anchor pin.

5. Unscrew and remove the Ball Joint Press.

To Disassemble / Assemble a U Joint

1. To disassemble a U joint, remove any external and/or internal lock rings.

2. Position the Ball Joint Press around the drive shaft yoke and tighten the jackscrew until the first bearing is removed. Reposition the ball joint press and remove the second bearing.

3. To assemble a U joint, clean all dirt and oil from the yoke area. Align the replacement bearing and Ball Joint Press as straight as possible over the yoke. Press the replacement bearing into the yoke, and reassemble the external/internal lock ring.

4. Reposition the ball joint press and second eplacement beaing as straight as possible over the yoke, and press the beaing into the yoke.

5.Reassemble the external/internal lock ring.
