Answer:	Although I have not tried it myself, in theory it should. Having said that, your car might struggle to produce enough electricity to power everything - it depends on how much power your car's alternator can generate.

That being said, I would not try to use the full output of a smaller (e.g. 180 watt) inverter for an extended period pf time, and would feel safer using a larger inverter like this at 60% capacity for the 180 watt output, instead of 100% capacity of a 180 watt inverter.

Answer:	All batteries must be charged to top batteries voltage before use this inverter or any inverter. If inverter is for 12v input, is better use 2 batteries 6 volts in serie up to 3 bank or sets in parallel. The inverter will tu en off close to 11.5 volts.

Answer:	You have to look at the manual and figure out the amp draw of the pump. If it's more than 1 amp, this inverter wont work.

So I would not run it in an enclosed space like a glove box.The fan is very quiet...while sitting in a car, with the engine off and the unit powered up you can barely hear the fan from 1 foot away. At 2 feet you cannot hear it at all. So with the car running and with the addition of road noise the fan will not be an issue. Recently the unit powered a DVD player for a 20 hour trip and performed perfectly and did not overheat. Only negative...the power cord is about 18" long so trying to hide it or install it could be a challenge.

Answer:	Other people are saying yes you can run it with the car off but there’s more too it, the lower you discharge the battery the more it needs to be recharged. Answer:	Your headphones are (probably) picking up the electomagnetism put off by the inverter. Move away from the inverter and see if it goes away. If not, then insulate your headphone wire. If that doesn't work, then try it with someone else's (preferably new) laptop. Some cheap/old laptops are built with too few capacitors and you probably shouldn't use this inverter. (Alternatively, you could hardwire capacitance into your charging cord). It's also possible that the product is not actually putting out a proper waveform. It works fine on my laptop, so I haven't tested that yet.

Answer:	I did not have much luck with this charger/inverter.After about 1 1/2 year the charger did not work any longer and another year afterwards, the inverter broke down.It looks like it is solid built from the outside, but apparently the electronics are somewhat weak.Initially I used it to even run a circular saw on it but afterwards it was only "sitting" around (connected to a battery) as a power backup. So, I would not consider this to be one of my better buys and I could not recommend it to a friend, especially, since it cost over $300.

That said if you are pulling a current through the inverter while the vehicle is not running it will drain the battery fairly quickly. For an average 45 Amp/Hour battery, drawing a full 12.5 amp load through the inverter it will drain the battery in three and a half hours.

Answer:	I pulled the fuse and replaced it with an amp meter and observed no current flow after about one second while a very large filter capacitor charged. I have had this devise directly connected to my battery for months with no problems in my classic 1947 jeep.
