Answer:	It is meant as a remote turn on wire (connect to amp), the LOC uses speaker wires to turn on/off and for voltage from head unit. Here is what is very important; some newer vehicles send continous voltage through speaker wires which will keep this unit on all the time. If you hook it up like described above do the standard quick test, turn on car, run, etc. Then turn off, if LOC/ Amps stay on for more than like a minute, then use the blue wire to hook up to cig lighter and test again. Answer:	Normally the big price differences is either between the voltages(12v,24v,36v,or 48v) systems or what I usually see is a price difference between a modified sine wave inverter or a pure sine wave inverter. The difference is depending on what you are trying to run and how long. Appliances in the US are designed for a pure 60HZ sine wave, and work normally, but with a modified sine wave any devices with a motor will start making a buzzing noise due to not having a clean sine wave to rotate on.

Answer:	While both are plugged in, press the button on the bottom of one of the units, then within a short period, press the button on the bottom of the other one. The installation guide says to hold the button down for 2-5 seconds each time, and that the button on the second one has to be pressed within 2 minutes of the first one being pressed, but mine only paired if I did the second one within a much shorter time than that: 15-30 seconds, or so.
