Answer: You would disconnect the current battery charger and set the converter in the IC3000 to match the exact charging parameters outlined by your lithium battery manufacture for optimal charging performance.
Question: Can you run shore power or generator with this unit off
Answer: In my install, no. Shore power enters the rig, feeds a surge protector which is wired to the AC input terminals of the IC-3000. The outputs of the inverter go to both legs (hot 1 & hot 2) of the 120v panel. On shore power ac not required to power the 5th wheel then charges the battery bank.
Question: I have a 50 amp service in my rv will this power up the whole service or just one side
Answer: We have this and we have a 50 amp RV. We use it with 4 v-max 125 batteries with a 400 W solar setup. It works well. We are able to start everything with it without any problems. However are battery bank isn’t big enough to run the air conditioner very long but we can start it. It works so much better than the one we had previously.

Answer: Why too short .. Don't waste your money. You can buy longer length and thicker cable at Walmart or any auto store for a quarter the price.
Question: What size gauge wire are the cables
Answer: According ti the mfg, installation requirements the wire size is to be determined by the distance from batteries to your inverter connection. I suggest the shortest distance between the two of 3-6 feet and use #0 copper. I found pre made cables on amazon that work great. they are 3 feet and 6 feet in length. Further, do not under-estimate the importance of proper cable size. It is better to go with a larger size cable than an under size cable. Hope this helps.
