Question:	i have a big air bed i use for camping and it has a wall plug for actual home outlets for the built in air pump,will this work
Answer:	You have to look at the manual and figure out the amp draw of the pump. If it's more than 1 amp, this inverter wont work.
Question:	does the unit use a fan
Answer:	Yes it does have a fan. So I would not run it in an enclosed space like a glove box.The fan is very quiet...while sitting in a car, with the engine off and the unit powered up you can barely hear the fan from 1 foot away. At 2 feet you cannot hear it at all. So with the car running and with the addition of road noise the fan will not be an issue. Recently the unit powered a DVD player for a 20 hour trip and performed perfectly and did not overheat. Only negative...the power cord is about 18" long so trying to hide it or install it could be a challenge.

Answer:	It depends on the type of pump that you have for your air mattress. I have seen AC powered mattress pups, the kind that would normally plug into a standard wall outlet, and DC powered pumps, the kind that you'd plug into a 12v outlet in a car. This battery pack will run an AC pump, with the outlet on the top, as long as it's not a 3-prong outlet. (I've never seen an air mattress pump that has a 3-prong plug on it.) If you have a pump that normally plugs into the 12v (cigarette lighter) plug in a car, then no, this will not connect to it. I hope this helps!

Question:	Why does the description include "15a or 20a/125v tamper resistant receptacles"? is it random on which is received
Answer:	No. You must have the power on and a good connection for it to work.
Question:	Is this the the usb receptacle with an auto shut off when charging your phone
Answer:	I've used it with success over a distance of about 75 feet. Opposite side of house, breaker in back on 1st floor, outlet was 2nd floor, in front, as far away as the wires go. It worked. Below are some suggestions. (I'm assuming the 9v battery in the receiver is good.) 1-) Make sure the circuit breakers are all on. (not tripped) 2-) Does the led light-up on the transmitter when you plug it in at the "opposite end of the house"? If no, the circuit is dead and it won't work. If yes, 3-) try it in another circuit to see if it works.. If possible, a circuit that is close to the one you're trying to diagnose. 4-) Are you holding the receiver in the proper manner? One side is supposed to be "up". I had something a little different happen to me once. It would alert on two, side-by-side, breakers. Never did figure out why that was, I just turned off both, fixed my issue and turned them both back on. If the circuit breakers are on, and the sender won't light up, I'm thinking the circuit breaker might have failed or the wire (black wire if wired properly) has come out or gotten loose from the circuit breaker. To access this you will probably have to remove a shield over the breaker box. You're then exposed to 240v in the breaker box --- BE CAREFUL. Measure with a volt meter (or appropriate test light) to see if the circuit breaker is functioning and the wire to it is installed tight/properly. The 240 V can really hurt you. If you aren't comfortable with that, call an expert or a friend who knows what he/she is doing. That's all I got --- hope this is helpful, good luck

Question:	What’s the most amount of devices that can be used on this power strip without it crashing
Answer:	Not quit sure without looking at the specs. I bought this one because of the 4AMP USB. Since both my wife and I have Android Phones that use 2 amps to charge the battery. I wanted to get the higher amp to charge the phone quickly. Any USB will charge the phone but if both USB ports are used then the lower amp USB takes longer the charge the newer phones, I-4, I-5, Samsung Galaxy 4 and S5, etc. Even if there is only 1 phone or tablet plugged in. So for I am satisfied with this model.
Question:	Are the usb ports switched to the power button
Answer:	I think it depends which device you buy. I have the Top Greener Duplex outlet - NOT the USB one. The Duplex outlet comes with a WHITE screwless face-plate (it's two pieces one of which is attached to the outlet and the screwless plate that snaps on it) - together those two pieces are the "wall plate". It also came with three outlet "inner" covers: WHITE (pre installed), ALMOND/BEIGE and BLACK. So even if you get the White screwless plate and decide you want to go all Black, you can replace the face and get a Decora style (rectangular opening) wall plate cover. By the way, the faceplace that comes with it is single-gang only. Something to keep in mind if you plan to mount it in a double or triple box.
Question:	How long is cord? Does it extendable
Answer:	Depends on the definition of "standard." Mine fit, but was indeed a tight fit. It did fit in a "remodel" single ga BG box, which it typically a bit tighter than ones build in original. Mostly because they are designed to mount after drywall. Depth was not the issue, but rather width was tight. I also had quite a bit of wiring to contend with in The box..With patience it can be done pretty easily.
Question:	Does this have a UL 1449 label
Answer:	I wired the outlet through my kill-a-watt meter with nothing plugged into the USB ports and the reading was 0.0 Watts! If it's drawing anything, it's below the sensitivity of my equipment. Shows 12watts charging iphone 6 with a power factor of 0.47 - The apple ipad charger has power factor of .5 - so this is every so slightly less efficient, but almost immesurably so.

Answer:	It's actually made to be plugged into a grounded wall socket, replacing the 2 3-pronged outlets with its 6 available grounded outlets. It can even replace the outlet cover and be screwed into place. I've got a bunch of these and love them.

Answer:	against the wall, mine is about 4 inches wide, 4 3/4 inches tall, and about 1 3/4 inches deep

Answer:	All power for this device comes from the TOP outlet of your receptacle -- so if that is switched then all outlets on this device will be switched (or if your bottom outlet is switched then all outlets on this device will NOT be switched).
Question:	Can this actually completely replace the existing outlet wall plate, or does it only plug in/screw on TOP of the wall plate
Answer:	My outlets are flush with the cover plate surface. Both the outlet and cover plate surfaces stand proud of the wall surface about 3/16". After I remove the center screw from the cover plate , install the new wall plug adapter into the original plug [with or without the original wall plate] the new wall plug adapter does not contact the wall surface. It is about 1/8" to 3/16" gap between the wall and the rim of the new wall plug adapter. I don't like this because the result is a wiggly assembly, does not feel solid or secure even though it is firmly screwed into the old, pre-existing outlet. It the new wall plug adapter had a deeper recess on the back [wall] side it would not have this gap and would feel much more secure.

Question:	Is it able to keep a plugged-in 85W macbook pro running indefinitely, or does it run out of power unless plugged in at higher wattage
Answer:	The outlet has 2 receptacles. 1 is "always on" and the other is the "smart" one. Unlike a standard outlet that you can wire each receptacle individually, the Leviton Smart Outlet only has 1 set of lugs to wire meaning you cannot physically wire it to have each receptacle act independently. You could have a wall switch interrupt power to the entire smart outlet but each time you turn it on, the smart controlled receptacle would need to reconnect to wifi before it would become active. I'm not totally sure of what you're trying to accomplish by installing a smart outlet without using an app but you can use voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant to control the smart receptacle only.
Question:	Is there a compatible Stainless face plate for this
Answer:	Lost power it will restore to the last state it was in before power was disabled. It will not turn items on if they were off.
Question:	Is the outlet matte or shiny? I know the wall plate that is decora is shiny black. I hate when there is a dull looking outlet in a shiny wallplate
