This one restored my Yellow Top battery back to its full capacity in short order! I own a Tahoe Hybrid and had installed the Yellow Top as a result of standard batteries not holding a full charge after a year or two, and often draining when not running the Tahoe at least once every 4-5 days or so. Can connect full-time to the battery the accompanying cable, making the use of clamps unnecessary! Just have to remember to unplug it! |

They are 3 1300mah Sub-c nicd cells with tabs tacked on. Order anything replacement battery that is 3 sub-c nicd cells in series. The worse you might have to do is solder the positive n negative male Spade onto the packs existing leads. I got one of those cheap rectangle power banks that always seem to be on clearance. Popped the lid off it and the 18650 slips out with the charge module attached. Then I soldered the leads to the tabs already welded onto the battery. Drilled a little hole in the end so the micro USB was acceptable with my phone charger and hot glued the whole assembly into the shell. 4 screws back on tight, and good to go. |
