Answer:	The specs page states the input values to be 100V to 240V so it should work on a 230V supply. Whether or not your particular battery will fit I do not know but my 20V Black n Decker battery fits fine (it's for a weed eater).

Answer:	The 4 station Battery Tender includes 4 cords (5 foot I think) with positive and negative alligator clips, 4 cords for bolting to a battery for maintenance charging. The station has 4 built in 5 foot extension cords as well. I bought an additional long extension cord for reaching one motorcycle that I store some distance from the charger. So far, after a year's use, it was a great investment since my single cord Battery Tender just didn't give me enough flexibility to work on all my vehicles.

Answer:	This is NOT a charger that I would recommend to bring back a dead battery as it is, in reality, a trickle charger. it will charge slowly and maintain a charge for you automatically. It is specifically for 12V batteries.

I have a moisture meter and its saving me from over watering which I am prone to do. Some plants like to be moist and some are drought resistant and can tolerate a lack of water and others like flowers need to be water more often because they wither quickly. if you have soil that is a mixture of clay then the clay will hold moisture and the plant won't need water as often. You can go on line and there is a wealth of information including how to water and care for any plant you have. I also sent a soil sample off to the North Carolina Dept of Agriculture so they could tell me about fertilizer. Good luck. The soil ph kit all on line.

Answer:	below 41 degrees, any battery. Also for AGMs, like Optima, and Odyssey. They recommend you check with your battery manufacturer. This mode charges at 14.7 volts.

Answer:	This will depend on your Car and how you hook it up. In the newer BMWs it will not provide enough power to keep the system from loosing some settings.

Answer:	I have both Ctek and NOCO. I would recommend both based on how they have performed for me. I have 3 Cteks. Two are the low amp models. I use them to keep my motorcycle batteries charged when not riding. The first one finally quit on me after 13 years of continual use. I think I got my money's worth for it. I also bought a 3.8 amp Ctek several years ago to maintain my 12 volt RV battery. I have changed that over to a NOCO G15000 because I converted my RV battery to two 6 volt in series for 12 volts at 225 ah. At the time Ctek had nothing to handle that. I bought the NOCO for the AMPs and its recondition mode. The recondition mode is 4 hours or less. The only drawback to the NOCO is most of the accessory cables they sell are for the lower amp chargers. So check that out on NOCO's website it you want any of the accessory cables. I also use my NOCO for my other cars, one has an AGM battery and my truck that has two batteries. The higher amp charger chargers then quickly. I am now buying the Ctek MXS 7.0 or Multi 7002 to deal with my RV batteries because they will handle the 225 ah of the RV battery. I hope this will help you out. I think both are great chargers.

Question:	Will this recharger charge my Duracell rechargeable batteries
Answer:	As long as the batteries are Ni-MH or Ni-CD it will charge them. I have EBL, Energizer and Rayovac brand Ni-MH batteries and it charges them all with no issues.
Question:	Can this unit also recharge AA/AAA Li-ion batteries? (The description indicates that it can only recharge 9v Li-ions
Answer:	No. This charger will charge only NiMH and NiCd AA/AAA batteries. The only Li-ion batteries it will charge are the 9v type. This is due to the voltages involved. AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd batteries contain a single 1.2v cell The cell's nominal voltage is determined by the its chemistry. For NiMH/NiCd cells, this value is 1.2v. A charger will push this up to ~1.4v. As the batteries discharge, this quickly drops to ~1.2v, flattens out there for most of their useful charge life, and the drops off from there as it becomes discharged. This charger is set up to charge AA/AAA batteies with NiMH/NiCd, and will stop charging (reverting to a trickle charge) once the battery charge reaches 1.4v. 9v batteries work a bit differently - they contain multiple cells connected in series to multiply their effective voltage. NiMH/NiCd 9v batteries will contain six to eight 1.2v cells, yielding an effective 7.2v to 9.6v at the battery terminals. Li-ion 9v batteries will typically contain two 3.7v cells, yielding an effective 7.4v at the battery terminals. This charger can handle any of these three because each of them are charged to the same (or similar) voltage, probably about 7.4v. So, long story made short: this charge works with only NiMH and NiCd AA/AAA batteries, but NiMH, NiCd, and Li-ion 9v batteries.
Question:	What is the charging time for aa and aaa batteries
Answer:	The charging time is dependent on the capacity of the batteries you are charging as well as the type. As Simran said, quick charging is not good for your batteries and plus I believe that by charging slower, you are able to actually store more energy in the battery. I only fast charge when I absolutely have to. I would never recommend to anyone to buy a fast-charge only charger.
Question:	Is this charger better than the one that's
Answer:	The $9.99 one must charge in pairs. If charging in pairs is not an issue then the $9.99 one is fine. This one will still require you to charge in pairs if the current charge for the battery is too low, otherwise it can recharge rechargeables individually. This particular model will also charge rechargeable 9v batteries (not that I've seen a lot of 9v rechargeables) and has an extra two slots for AA/AAA for a total of 10 AA/AAA bays. The $9.99 charger does not have a display to indicate the charging progress; you'll just have to wait till the green light shuts off indicating that the charge is complete. I have devices that uses an odd number of batteries, so this device works great for me. Brands tested on this unit without issues (AA and AAA): Rayovac, Duracell, Energizer, EBL, Eneloop, and Panasonic

Question:	I have a 130amp alternator. will the 60amp renogy dcdc charger be too large and damage the alternator? how about at idle for up to 1 hour
Answer:	I had a 40A on my 160 amp alternator and noticed a straining noise after a few months that has since gone away after removal of the Renogy. Alt. runs at about 50% when idle, so it would theoretically cover it, but you're not leaving much left for the vehicle systems. I would step down to a 40 or even a 20.
Question:	At 40A, I'll have to run the engine for 2.5 hours to charge a 100 amp hour battery (from completely drained). Correct
Answer:	In principle yes, however, it will probably take twice that long for a "full charge." From the discharged state it will charge at 40 amps but it will reduce the charge rate for best charging and battery life. You don't want to run from full to empty and back every day. I have your configuration (100 amp hour battery and 40 amp charger). I drive 40 miles every day and it is enough to charge the battery for my CPAP and other medical devices for the night.
Question:	What size alternator do you need for this to work
Answer:	I use the 40A version on my Chevy Express with 145 amp alternator. It works fine so long as you're not over-taxing your alternator by trying to heavily charge your engin battery or run full accessories in low speed or idle conditions. For that reason I installed an "ON/OFF" switch in line so I can leave it off at the start of driving to give the alternator time to top out my engine battery. Then, I can switch it on and charge my rv lithium batteries at 40 amps. No problems doing it this way.
Question:	Where does the D+ wire get mounted to? I can interpret the instructions in three different ways, so I am curious what you all have done
Answer:	The D+ wire is a + voltage sensor to turn on the DC to DC Charger only when engine is running. The D+ wire gets hooked up to the fuse panel's ACCESSORY fuse slot, where Accessories only gets +12VDC when engine is running. Use an ATC Fuse Tap with crimp type "blue" butt connector connected to the D+ wire, insert 2 of the same Amp fuses into the 2 fuse tap slots required for your vehicle's Accessories. Although the D+ wire draws no current, it detects when a + voltage is present, the fuses protects vehicle's Accessories. It works.
