Question:	How long are the cords
Answer:	There are only two ways to Efficiently & properly charge the unit, plug it into a house 110 V outlet or Or I use a 4000 W inverter in my truck and I plug the inverter primary into the cigarette lighter and the secondary is 110 V which works great on that Max in addition to charging at the same time many charging tool batteries and led work lights. I leave it plugged in My trucks Invertor all the time while driving and all my tools including the max are always charged and hot ready to go.
Question:	Just want to make sure I understand this correctly - you can plug this into the cigarette lighter and don't need to connect to the battery
Answer:	I wouldn't count on this type of pack for anything with a motor (power tools, the blender, pumps, etc). I tried running a small fridge off a 400 watt inverter connected to a car battery and that wouldn't work. The fridge only needed ~120 watts running, but to start it's motor the "Surge draw" was ~1000 watts that would put the inverter in "overload" alarm every time. So despite the minimal time of running the blender, that "surge draw" is quite often too much for these small inverters.Also FYI, the batteries in these can give you ~200 watts of power for 1 hour (or 100 watts for 2 hours, etc). That's how long they'll last alone. I've seen in manuals that "You can extend the run time by connecting up another battery via the jumper cables", yet if you need multiple parts anyway I'd be tempted to look at a separate battery big enough for everything and a bigger inverter.One of the best suggestions I can make is get something like the "kill-a-watt" meter and see what power your blender & things need for how long. That meter costs $20, so before spending $100+ on this I think knowing what you really need (measuring the power demands) is worth it. That meter can show you both power draw while running (for inverter sizing) and KWH power use (for battery sizing).
Question:	how fast does it charge
Answer:	I don't have a CPAP or such, but have seen this question posted many times (look under the similar units like Schumacher XP2260 or Duracell 600 packs). This like those other packs has about an "18 amp-hour" battery hinting it can provide 1 amp (at 12V) for 18 hours, or 2 amps for 9 hours, or 3 amps for 6 hours, etc. Many others have said they can get at least 1 night out of the packs if you don't need to run things like a humidifier function or such that needs much more power. Since I don't have the same equipment you do to really know the power use (as well as what settings you need), one of the best ways to find out how long this would last is to get a meter like the "Kill-a-watt" and measure the power use yourself. That meter goes for under $20, so before spending $100+ on this I'd see that as worth it. Based on the info I gave above these packs can provide about 200 watts for 1 hour (or 0.2 KWH). With some of the labels like "400 watt inverter" or such you may think it lasts much longer (like at least 1 hour under that 400 watt load), but it doesn't, so don't expect too much out of it (and that's the same for all packs like this).
Question:	What is the float voltage? When the charger indicates it is done charging what is the voltage of the battery
Answer:	Yes, you can charge this with many "12V" solar panels that are out there. Just beware that if a solar panels is directly connected up, they can raise the battery voltage to levels over 15V which is considered "Overcharging". So it's best to have a voltage regulator or "Charge controller" between the panel and battery (which will stop charging once the battery is at 14.5V which is "full" for it).

Answer:	beats me. i keep mine hooked up from 12/31 to 4/1 and only then do i take it off. my understanding is that you do not need to disconnect it-it powers down on its own, but you mught want to find the user nistructions and check me on that. good product if youre not in a hurry

If the car stays outside they make a waterproof model. If your looking for a fast charger this is not what you want, if you do buy this make sure it's the 12 volt model ... hope this will help you

Answer:	Charge for free! Buy a low wattage solar battery charger/maintainer at Harbor Freight instead because it works very well maintaining the battery charge provided that the battery is fully charged before hooking up this solar charger.... it will only maintain the charge. Not made to fully charge a discharged battery. Point the solar panel southwest to get the most out of the sunlight during daytime. I have used this $9.99 if on sale gadget for years now on my boat and car and has not failed me yet. It comes with all the hook up accessories needed. I have not used the boat for 2.5 years at a time and the gel battery is as good as when I installed it 7 years ago. My car wet cell battery also is as good as when I first installed it and I only use the car abroad every 12 months when I am in town for 3 weeks. Car or Boat batteries Gel or not will not last it's lifetime if it is always discharged and recharged. Maintaining the charge is key to it's longevity. Good luck! No need to blame anybody. The State of California is an environmentally conscious state and that is a good thing for everybody.
Question:	Can this be used to charge an AGM battery
Answer:	Stupid me, but don't all lead acid batteries use the same chemistry? I've read only that 6-cell lead-acid batteries should never use a charging voltage exceeding 14.4 volts, since water will begin to H2 gas and O2 gas above that. You risk explosion and loss of electrolyte beyond that. Explain why this is different for AGM, Flooded, and Gel batteries!

Answer:	The clamps are metal on the inside (obviously), and a durable plastic on the outside as insulating covers. Looks to be pretty durable, I've had no problems with them. But then, I tend to take care of my toys! :-) This unit, by the way, was an excellent investment...after having owned several less-capable chargers. This one restored my Yellow Top battery back to its full capacity in short order! I own a Tahoe Hybrid and had installed the Yellow Top as a result of standard batteries not holding a full charge after a year or two, and often draining when not running the Tahoe at least once every 4-5 days or so. Can connect full-time to the battery the accompanying cable, making the use of clamps unnecessary! Just have to remember to unplug it!

Answer:	it would be good to get a voltage reading on the battery with a digital voltmeter-one with a scale that can tell the difference between 1-20 volts. Take a reading on the battery with nothing on- then notice how low it drops with lights and horn- then while cranking the engine. If the battery is below 12.6 volts to start with a charge may help-then repeat the above tests. If the battery shows a full charge but drops below 10 volts while trying to crank, it may be bad. If there is no noticeable drop while it should be cranking (but no crank) you may have a connection or other problem. Will the bike jump start?
Question:	I would have to charge my dead battery outside. Could I hook this up and then leave in the engine bay with the hood closed while charging
Answer:	I have done that very thing for years. I have never had an issue..! I leave a battery tender hooked up 24 hours a day on my Motorcycle.
Question:	Will this charge a healthy battery that is pretty much drained? My other chargers will not activate due to low voltage at the battery
Answer:	I had a dead car battery (under 3 volts) so I jump-started the car, hooked up the trickle charger, then left the car running a while and that got the battery above 3 volts so this trickle charger did kick in. Since this model is really designed for smaller batteries on motorcycles and ATVs, but it did charge up the car battery in about 48 hours.

Answer:	The factory Delco radio in my black 5spd 94 S10 kills my battery if I do not drive it at least once every 48 hours. Deltran chargers work great for all the equipment we use at work (24v of course) and Deltran works great to keep my Delco radio from killing my S10. A fellow employee of mine has a 2008 Silverado and has suffered from dead batteries for years if he did not drive in at least once every few days - seems that GM cannot produce a radio that does not kill a battery. He installed a Deltran charger last month and has not yet had a dead battery despite the radio sucking 950mah.
Question:	is it easy to install or do i need mechanic? i am elderly
Answer:	All you do is connect the end that has the clips for battery red positive black negative shows on top of battery as such. There is a plug coming from unit that will pug into those two items once all that is plugged in then plug unit into 110 wall socket and it will charge from there read instructions as to how to tell when batter is fully charged. This unit is not installed it is to be used when needed and can be left hooked to your battery when car is at home with out hurting battery. Once charged then un plug from battery and un plug from wall outlet till needed next time. Hope that helps some but be sure to read instructions as how to tell what the lights on unit is telling you.

Answer:	- The LED design is for detecting if the solar panel is in good condition, It only need 2mA current to power the LED light, the amount of power LEDs use is insignificant, It will take 17 years for this LED light to drain a 10AH battery, so there is no need to worry the LED light will drain your battery. - Without connecting the solar panel to the battery, when the solar panel is facing the sunlight, the light is on, it means that this is good solar panel. When the solar panel is connecting the solar panel: If the light on, it means the voltage of the battery is higher than 12.5V, If the light off, it means the voltage of the battery is lower than 12.5V.
Question:	Would this be good for keeping my 2 1000 cca batteries in my diesel truck charged if just left on the dash
Answer:	CCA has zero to do with charging or maintaining a battery.... you need the Amp Hr reserve capacity rating of the battery to judge how long it will take to charge. Using a multi meter in direct sunlight the panel produces around 1.3-1.6 amps, on a cloudy day 0.8-1 amp. If your parasitic draw (should be 50 milliamps or less) it will charge the batteries.
Question:	i have 2 ,12 volt trojan batteries, is there a benifit to using 2, 20 watt trickle solar chargers instead of one solar panel
Answer:	I am assuming those batteries are attached to an RV of some sort as house batteries. If you need to keep the house batteries fully charged when the RV is not in use and assuming you have a battery cutoff switch, one twenty watt panel will be more than enough to keep both batteries topped off. With the battery cutoff switch turning the batteries off you should have zero drain on the batteries, however they may lose 1% to 2% of their charge each month sitting idle. One twenty watt panel charging several hours a day is more than enough to keep the batteries fully charged. Just don't expect this panel to charge a discharged or dead battery. It`s designed to top them off and keep them fully charged, like when an RV is sitting when unused for several weeks or months
Question:	is this a mppt or pwm controller
Answer:	There is no Charge Cntroller. There are enough Cells in the Panel to reach 12.6 to 12.8 volts when not connected to a Battery. A full charged Battery will test at 12.6 volts. A partially depleted Battery, say it tested at 12.4 will be charged until the battery voltage reaches 12.6 to 12.8. This is better than having a Controller which could go bad or malfunction. With the Cells balanced to charge no more than 12.6 to 12.8 volts, its not possible for your Battery to overcharge. Also, the voltage the panel generates will not wale up your Vehicle's Modules which could be sensitive to voltages in excess of 12.8 volts. This is a good panel. On an overcast day with my tinted Windows it will still trickle charge my battery until fully topped off.
