The following are some helpful notes from the manufacturer: The CONDOR Cycle Loader is meant to be used with a flat bed, rollback type truck. From your inquiry, I assume you are trying to use it on a ramp to get it up into a pickup bed or a toy hauler. If you are bottoming out on a toy hauler, you can try adjusting the height of the trailer at the hitch to change the angle of the ramp for extra clearance. If that doesn’t work, or you are going into a pickup, some people have placed a thin board under the rear tires of the Cycle Loader at the point where it is about to cross the threshold. This can lift the back end just enough to clear the interference. Also, a longer ramp to decrease the approach angle can help. If you find some after market wheels in the size you mentioned, there are some considerations to keep in mind: 1. The larger wheels will not fit on the assembly due to the brake levers. 2. If the brakes are removed, this will also remove the function of the brakes to stop the unit for loading and unloading. 3. Wider wheels will not attach with the provided hardware, so you will most likely need longer bolts as well. 4. Any after market wheel you use should match or exceed the rating of the current wheel, 450lbs per wheel min. I hope this information helps. |

Answer: | I purchased it for my Tow Company to load bikes onto flatbed car carriers. I have never used it for the rear wheel. It works well with the front wheel attached and easily controlled by the handle bars. Assuming you use it for the rear, there may be additional help needed. |

Answer: | The front axle can be modified to match the rear (35 1/2" wide) by drilling two new holes in the square tubing for the locking pins. From the factory it was too wide (42 or 43 inches) to fit on the ramp, with the modification it fits on the BigBoy ramp. I also screwed strips of 1/2"thick x 6" wide plywood to the ramp to allow the wheels to roll on the ramp and 1/8" x 1/2" x 1/2" aluminum angle to the outside edge as guides... Answer: | My bike weighs 680 pounds. But that weight isn’t resting on the chock, it is only holding the front wheel in place so it doesn’t matter how much your bike weighs it will hold it. |

Answer: | It does not. BUT, you will need a solid object/surface in front of the condor (like a curb or a wall) to brace it. With nothing in front of the Condor, it may move and slide around as you mount it. Having the Condor as a portable option is definitely possible though. They even make a small bracket that mounts to the floor (designed for trailers) that will properly secure your Condor in place. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to mount the small bracket to a concrete floor or driveway, given the proper hardware. |

Answer: | Yes and over all this is a very stable unit. If you want it mounted in a trailer with wood floor, it has the bolts to mount it after drilling and if they are the right length. If you mount it in your garage with a concrete floor then you would be using concrete anchors. These vary from a jam in type stud to a concrete lag bolt. The concrete lag can be removed but, if removed many times it may become loose and new holes may need to be drilled. The jam anchor with nut on top will stick out some but, should not bother anything when left in when removing the stand bracket. I have mine mounted in a trailer with wood floor and is amazing. |

Answer: | Well, I guess it would depend on the strength of the 3/4" floor and closeness of cross beam supports and attachment. I used two bolts through the steel crossbeam, added an additional 3/4" piece under my 3/4" plywood floor and used the remaining bolts through the resulting 1 1/2" floor. It is very sturdy inside my enclosed trailer with rear ramp door. |
