User questions & answers

Question: Is there a lock on the trigger to keep the drill in the "on" position
Answer: Yes and very easy to switch between forward and reverse. We have really put this drill to work and are very happy with its performance.
Question: Is it reversible drill
Answer: Most electric (mains powered/cord) drills make terrible screwguns and this drill is no exception. The issue is torque, which is not effected much by the speed of an electric motor. Electric motors deliver almost 100% of their available torque immediately upon being energized and will produce that same amount of torque throughout their speed range (that's why freight trains, in the US, are driven by electric motors. The engines you hear are diesel electric generators which power the electric traction motors that make the train go. Without that instantly available torque the train would never move). All electric motors deliver torque like this. It has nothing to do with a brand. That instantly available torque is also what makes mains powered drills tear up screw heads, break screws, shred driver bits and cam out of the screw head to put the distinctive track marks on walls and furniture. It's also what makes mains powered drills perfect for drilling holes, which is precisely what they're designed to do. Since you can't do anything practical to change the way electric motors work the solution is to design the screwgun around a motor with less torque and lower power requirements. It doesn't take much torque to drive a screw (next to none if properly sized pilot holes have been drilled) and useful levels of screwdriving torque can easily, and conveniently, be provided by 18v-24v which can be had in a small rechargeable battery. Unless you're doing a LOT of 1/4"+ diameter hole making buy an inexpensive mains powered drill and spend the extra money on a nice cordless driver/drill and batteries. You'll get a lot more mileage for your money that way.
Question: I don't understand the comments saying this drill is useless as a screwdriver. Anyone else agree that this drives screws as easily as cordless drills
Answer: Stability is better with the mid grip over the pistol grip in the sense that your hand is closer to the target rather than behind the whole drill. It has better control and is easier to keep on the head of a screw or what have you. :)
Question: What is the advantage of a mid handle grip rather than a pistol grip? I am a woman with average strength, inexperienced at DIY but want to learn
Answer: NO. It only fit Men size 9 - 12.5.

User questions & answers

Question: Id like to cancel camper stabilizers
Answer: I am not sure I just drill holes and bolted them on
Question: I need extra self tapping screws. Can I get them from seller
Answer: Walk to the Amazon store with your product and hope they are open
Question: How do I Return
Answer: Stabilize yes. They are very hard to lift something of their rated weight. I used 4, to stabilize my Class A REYO which had a total weight of 13,000 Each end should have been about a quarter of that. None of them easily lifted their corner.. By placed lengthwise across the r, I am assuming you mean across the rear. Their orientation shouldn't matter unless the rig moves, which is BAAD. but along the frame as close to the rear as possible is fine. Aligning them to the match the Frame shouldn't matter.
Question: Can i use these to stabilize (not lift more than an inch) my 2000 hurricane q30? back end only. if so, should they be place lengthwise or across the r
Answer: No. There is no trigger lock on this otherwise excellent drill.

User questions & answers

Question: the 40lb item weight, is that for all
Answer: Yes, I purchased them and they actually weighted about 11lbs each jack...
Question: How far apart are two top bolts/scissor-arm-axles, center to center? Want to use existing welded plates on frame
Answer: Hello, If you talking about the bolts in the mounting plate. They are 2 inches apart. Front to back. That is center of bolts. Hope that helps.
Question: Do these have to be mounted in order to use as stabilizer
Answer: Yes, have to be mounted either by bolts or by welding, it’s for the safety
Question: What is the retracted length, is it 12" or 26 ½? Please reply soon
Answer: I can only verify information on items sold by classacustoms Extend Height: 24" Collapsed Height: roughly 4" Collapsed Length: roughly 27" (this includes screw) If the distance between the ground and your trailer frame is less than 20 inches you should use 24 inch jacks (not 30 inch jacks) Do Not use the scissors jack to lift excessive weight or tires off the ground. Jack is made to stabilize your unit, not lift unit off the ground. Vehicle frame and door jam damage may result. Do Not use these scissors jack as a tire changing jack.
