Answer:	I don't understand the question but it mounts in the same bolt pattern as most common jacks including Atwood.

Question:	Will this work on a 3" hole pattern? It states 2 1/4" but looks to be slotted making it adjustable
Answer:	This product simply replaces the manual lift. Just unbolt the old and bolt on the new in the same mounting holes. The wiring can be done two different ways. You can mount a 12v battery to the trailer and get power from that. I chose to get my power from the vehicle that I am pulling the trailer with. It did require replacing the lifts factory plug. This is not hard to do. The new plug will come with a wiring diagram that shows you where each colored wire gets attached. The plug will have a open spot for constant 12v power. That's the location for the lift. You need to look at the vehicles plug to confirm that the constant 12v location is connected. If it isn't you can simply cut a short piece of wire and jump from the hot wire to the constant 12v location. It's not hard to do, you just have to concentrate on what your doing.

Answer:	The black wire connects to the battery or positive connection... The ground is obtained through the bolted connection of the jack base to the trailer tongue. Be sure that there is a good metal-to-metal connection when bolting the jack in place.

Answer:	The reason that I purchased this jack was because i was tired of smacking my knuckles on the cover over the propane tanks. My camper is ballpark 30 feet long and I have 1,000 pound load bars on it. What you are lifting is tongue weight which is usually around 10 percent of your total weight so for a 5,000 pound camper it would be 500 pounds. I would say the answer is yes, way overkill. If you have load bars on a trailer than no this is not overkill and it is actually a lifesaver.

Answer:	I actually work in the RV business on the service side and a 2500LB jack would suffice. you need to measure the hole diameter when the old tongue jack is removed, 2" or 2-1/4". I just installed the "super brute 5klb" on a dbl cargo trailer rated at 18,000 lbs and it was more than enough. The weight on the tongue is what should be used to determine the size tongue jack required. to get really accurate you would have to load the trailer for a trip then place a scale under the tongue jack when you lift it off the towing vehicle (simple way). this scale should be capable of handling up to 4000lbs. this will tell your tongue weight (amount of weight not on the suspension or forward of the axles). rule of thumb= 15% of total weight of the trailer should be on the tongue or "tongue weight" ie: a trailer loaded to 10,000lbs = 1,500 tongue weight
