Question:	Does it come with a portable case
Answer:	No, but the box it comes in is pretty sturdy. If you remove the cardboard packing the jack easily slides back into the box. The inside bottom of the box is reinforced. Not sure how long it will hold up, but it’s better than nothing.

Answer:	A Cadillac CTS is roughly 4,300 pounds. Which is a little over the capacity of this jack. As long as you're placing it on jack stands and you don't leave the jack holding it too long, it should be okay. Although all the armchair experts on this site will implore you to buy a 3 or 4 ton jack. Just remember to always put the car on jack stands and do your work on a flat, level surface.

Answer:	The cup itself is 2 1/4 inches, with the inner portion (The part that spins freely, with the 4 tabs) 1 7/8ths, and the tabs extend about 1/4 inch up from the cup. Hope this helps.
Question:	What kind of oil does this take? The screw was loose when it was shipped to me and some oil had poured out into the box. I just want to top it off
Answer:	hydraulic jack oil. The screw IS loose upon arrival. If you read the SHORT instructions....this (grey) screw is HOW TO LOWER the jack when you are done lifting and have supported the weight/vehicle with jack stands. Turning just a bit using the handle you used to pump up the vehicle - you will notice it lower ever so gently. ONCE it is fully lowered - it is best to immediately turn the screw clockwise until it stops - this prepares the jack for its next use. Do this so you will not forget it is closed. IMO - some people with oil spewing - did not 'get it' how important it is to assure the valve is closed BEFORE raising the vehicle.

Answer:	It's unlikely. I have a 2006 Mustang GT. If I'm not mistaken, a Mustang has about the same ground clearance as a 350Z. The jack will not fit under my Mustang. It's about an inch or two too tall. It is a great jack in spite of this. I use it on my other vehicle.

Question:	Have a '98 TJ Wrangler. It's not lifted. How do I know what size jack to buy
Answer:	Measure the distance from the ground to the spot on your jeep where you would attach the jack if you needed to lift it to change a tire or what ever. Your jack will have to travel upwards from that point the distance of your suspension travel (call your dealer if you don't know). When your jack has lifted your tire off the ground, my rule of thumb is to have another two feet of left due to uneven terrain not to mention the stability of the jack. So to sum it all up you would add say 30 inches, ground to bumper, plus 10 inches of suspension travel, plus 24 inches for safety. This would require you to buy a jack as close to 64 inches as possible .

Answer:	same problem here. 20 ton. returned one, and new replacement does the same thing. over 100lbs of pressure and still no lower. must stand on... which is effing hard when in a crawlspace.. hard to remove from area jacked up also, because wont lower.

Answer:	Neighbor ... sounds like you are a newbie. We were all that, once. The handle fits over the operating valve and piston action depends on whether it is open or not. Twist clockwise to close and pump .... the piston goes up. Twist counterclockwise to open and the piston retracts .... if, there is sufficient weight on it or it has a spring to retract the piston. The large screw in the top is manually adjusted out or in. Please remember that this unit isn't reliable enough for you to get under the car after you have lifted it. Jack stands are needed and you must be certain that the car cannot move. That means emergency brake set and wheel chocks are needed. Sorry if I got too specific or described things you already knew. Answer:	I have a similar jack used as the power ram for a press. I mounted it right side up and let the ram push against the top bar of the press frame and let the body of the jack rest on the movable press part. If you search for "hydraulic press" and get pictures of the smaller "home shop" style presses, you can see many that are set up that way. Mine works really well. Keeps the cost down because you can use an inexpensive bottle jack like this one rather than a purpose built hydraulic ram made to work inverted.
