Answer:	The orange pad is for swirl removal generally with something like m 105. The white pad is for polishing to bring out the shine with something like m 205 but it does have a light cut for fine swirl marks.

Answer:	No, not really unless you are okay with discarding the blade when you are done. And the stump is very small. The dirt dulls the blade even though it is carbide tipped. There are different grades of carbide for different applications.

If you just want to clean them and aren't worried about the foam pads tearing or wearing out then a good (mild) dish soap like Dawn will clean them. However a good Polishing and Buffing Pad Conditioner will do so much more. By using a Polishing and Buffing Pad Conditioner you will reduce friction so the pad will be less susceptible to tearing. Lubricated pads cut and polish with less wear and tear on the pad. The light conditioning lubricants inside add extra surface protection by reducing dry friction while polishing. A good Polishing and Buffing Pad Conditioner works with lubricants in the products you are using, providing extra needed lubrication to protect against micro-marring and the possibility of burning paint through friction. Once dry you can then put them back into the plastic bag they came in, but do NOT put them in the bag wet or mold will form and ruin the pads.

Answer:	Never tried but don't see why it wouldn't work

Answer:	It can be used in a 3 inch polishing machine.
Question:	Why do you need so many pads? Couldn't you get a nice polish with a single pad
Answer:	You can get a nice polish with one pad. However, some people choose to use a multi stage process for reconditioning or correcting paint. For example, you may use a heavy cut compound to fix surface imperfections, then a polish to produce shine, then a finish or wax. Each color pad would be for one of the steps so you don't cross contaminate products.
Question:	Are the black and white pads exactly the same , same question are the yellow and blue pads the same
Answer:	As far as I can tell, the black and white pads are the same. Same goes for the yellow and blue. However, the yellow and blue pads are "dimpled" rather than flat as are the black and white ones.

Question:	Has anyone used these on a Terrazzo shower pan
Answer:	Before buying the grit #3000, since the counter is now smooth, try one more time starting with grit #800 and then #1500. Use ~3200 RPM and add plenty of water. Polish wet, but judge dry. Take your time with each grit, polish slow. And in between grit #800 and #1500, wipe the edge of surface with gently squeezed wet cleaning towel and after the surface gets dry, vacuum the area to remove any debris. Repeat this step after the #1500 grit. If still doesn't look shiny, then yes, you should buy #3000 grit and maybe the buff as well. Granite is the hardest stone, but marble is the most pretentious one. It depends on the type of marble you have as well, but in general you have to be patient with marble. All the advices above are coming from polishing experts in the industry, people that do this for a living. Nothing we invented. I wish you good luck with your project.
Question:	Will it work for aquarium glass
Answer:	These pads are for finish polishing of stone tiles or composite countertops to remove fine scratches or smooth sharp edges. They would not be the best tool to smooth a rough surface of any size.
Question:	I just need to polish a 36 sq ft concrete area. Will one kit be enough
Answer:	Do not use the hose for delivery of hot water. Hot water can damage the hose.
Question:	Would this attach to an orbital sander with velcro
Answer:	Yes it can be removed or replaced. There are two valves, one on top of the sprayer that can be operated by thumb, the second one cuts off the water before it reaches the sprayer. I suggest completely draining the water out of the hose before storing. This will make the hose last longer.

Question:	I have a spta buffer and bought this kit, but the adapter threads are different and can’t use it, do they sell an adapter with correct threads
Answer:	Idk if spta does, but adapters exist. I only wanted the 1/4 for use on a drill (works great if you don't want to buy another piece). It should be noted that I haven't used the 3 in pad or pads, because I already have a 3" DA buffer.
