How to select a gooseneck hitch
There are three ways to set up your pickup truck for gooseneck towing:

A. Installing with an OEM puck system

Answer: | No. Get the under bed gooseneck hitch / turn over ball specific to your truck. Not really hard to install it by yourself, does take a few hours or it did me. The companion / 5th wheel hitch slides into the hole in bed where the gooseneck ball would go. Release pin thru it and tighten the locking bolt to 60 ft lbs. Takes longer to lift it outta the bed of the trk than to get it ready to remove. Top plate comes off stand, then lift stand out. The stand is much heavier than the top plate but nothing one man can’t handle. Wouldn’t want to carry it very far but from the trk bed to the shop where I store it when not in use is no big deal. I have a plastic bed liner and had to cut strips in it for the frame feet strips to set in the bed corrugations. U don’t have to do that with spray in liner or no liner. I’m very happy with the easy and fast swap from a flat truck bed to gooseneck hitch or 5th wheel hitch & vice versa. |

Answer: | Not sure where you got 52 pounds. That might be for just the head. Hitch is two pieces Base is heavy and I guess about eighty pounds for base. Two pieces together is well over 100 pounds. I always take my hitch out of truck when returning from trip and I use a rope hoist (7 to 1 ) ratio. Being 77 years old weight is too much to easily lift. |

Door Latch Handle Extender/Leverage Bar
Leverage bar assists the operator in opening and closing shipping container doors.
Slide the OPNBar (hook side) over the door handle and grip the extended leverage handle with both hands. Make sure the rectangular mouth of the bar is snug on the container door handle. Lift up the door handles while gripping OPNBar and twist to make sure the cams and keepers are dis-engaged. To close, perform the procedure in reverse.
Fifth Wheel Release Hook
The 5th Wheel Pull Hook assists the truck driver in releasing the fifth wheel. Using a strong 5th wheel pull hook is recommended when separating a tractor from the trailer.
Have a good leverage grip and make sure the hook is snug on the truck's 5th wheel release hook. Use two hands, firmly gripping the the tool's handle to the angled section of the tool to ensure that the OPNBar hook is pressed against the 5th wheel release hook securely.
Tire Thumper
The Tire Thumper function assists the truck driver in a quick method of evaluating properly inflated tires for truck driver safety. Some trucks have many tires and tire thumping is the fastest method for checking tire pressure before hitting the road.
If there is air in the tire, the tire thumper will bounce easily, making a loud, sharp thud; and if the tire is flat, the tool will not bounce much and will give a dull thud sound when the tire is smacked.
