Answer: I think the fit your vehicle tool isn't the best with tires. There are so many tire brands/sizes that it doesn't correctly identify them all maybe.. These tires come in all different sizes, including one which fits the forester. I don't remember the size off the top of my head, but read the number on your current tires and order that size. Ignore the Amazon prompt if it's says that size doesn't work. If it's the same size, than it will.
