Question: | Will this work on to remove the window crank/knob on my 2007 kia spectra |
Answer: | Well what it is is it's about a spring compressor for a spring that is heavy duty and approximately 4 in long and about 1 in and with.I do not know anything about the specs on a Kia but the spring that it removed for me was from a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck full size. I do not know if this helps you but it is very hard to give you a best answer when I do not know what it is you are a working with. Sorry anything you're cracking up should just have some sort of pin or clip that you should be able to get out but I don't know anything about Kia. |
Question: | Will this work on 2006 silverado truck |
Answer: | This is a spring compressor. It worked fine on the 1998 Chevy S10 that I got it for. It should work for the door hinge springs on your Silverado PU. |
Question: | Does anyone know if the door spring compression tool work on a 1967 Ford Mustang door spring |
Answer: | Yes it is made to compress springs for removing and replacing springs . Works well have used mine couple times |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do these sockets have a protective insert for the front of a lug as say a spark plug socket has a rubber insert |
Answer: | Yes, it is hard plastic, but I need to remove the outer sleeve for it to fit my Foose wheels. If I would have known, I would've just used a regular thin-wall socket & saved the price of this part. Unless you have extra-long lugnuts, the tops of them will never touch the inside back of the socket anyway. The sides of the lugnuts are what need protection. To install, I hold the lugnut inside a ziplock bag & push it into the socket. I then fold the bag back over the outside of the socket to protect the wheel, before threading it onto the lug. Obviously, similar procedure for removal. I change the bag when it starts to rip, usually after 2 or 3 nuts, sometimes more, sometimes less. It's not perfect, but it greatly minimizes damage, & my lugnuts are hand-painted & baked with matching-color caliper paint. Between the bag & the paint layer, it's a real nice snug fit. BTW though, I never allow, or myself use, impact tools on my wheels. I hand torque with a TEKTON 24340 wrench to my vehicle's('16 Camaro) specs of 140ft/lbs. |
Question: | can someone provide me with an outside diameter of the 21 mm socket without the plastic coating |
Answer: | Without the plastic sleeve it is 1-1/8" diameter. |
Question: | How can I replace a broken socket under warranty |
Answer: | This is a special thin wall socket for alloy rims. It is not capable of high torque. Lugs nuts are 90/100 foot pounds on these wheels no air tools should ever be used. I would would buy another one and be more careful. I am not aware of a warranty on this type of tool. I have one but never saw a warranty notice from the manufacturer. |
Question: | The top of this has a plastic cover - how do you get it out of that cover? Says "cut" but the plastic is too thick to cut with scissors/boxcutter etc |
Answer: | You can pull the plastic cover off with your hand using a twisting motion and it will come right off |

Question: | Will these work on a 2018 Nissan Sentra |
Answer: | Didn't work at all go to a local tire shop they will pull your locks off in a matter of minutes like 20 bucks 4 all 4 locks |
Question: | Will this remove 19 mm lug nuts |
Answer: | I don't believe it will. It's too big. Also, beware that with this threaded style, once you get the lug nut off, it is very difficult to get the extracted bolt out of this device. |
Question: | So, for real- what's the secret to getting the lug out so I can use the socket again |
Answer: | Once you have the lug nut turning, but before you remove it all the way from the lug, use an extension on the socket to "lever" it from side to side to loosen it. Sometimes it will need a few taps on the side as well to convince it to leave the lug nut behind on the stud, but it's the easiest way overall. |
Question: | does these fit my mazda 2004 v 6 and do i have to use breaker bar with it |
Answer: | Hello Noel, this tool has two set of sockets, one from 17 to 18 mm and the other one from 19 to 21, I'm sure either one would fit to your Mazda. You will need a power tool, either air or electric (impact) for better results. |
