The higher the number the smaller/finer the wire is and it would be more flexible and used for boutonnières and to insert the wire in the flower buds to manipulate its form and shape. Thicker wires are better if you are working with tying stems to an arch or a hoopa.

Answer:	Your guess is good as mine. I purchased this compressor in 2015. Called George in customer service. I was told to take the heads off and, I explained to George, there was so many foreign bodies of metal and crap. I have used the compressor to air tires and clean chain on bicycles. The tank would not hold air, motor never shut off. For the next 2 years, I provided hospice care to my mother and father in law plus I broke my back. My complaint about the possibility of working with George on getting it replaced fell on deaf ears because now the defective compressor is out of warranty. I'm going to be a reasonable person here, you know George, sometimes life is a priority over a defective product and worthless warranty. I now have a 120# paper weight.

Answer:	Yes, these are 26 Gauge which is very flexible, very thin wiring. The higher the gauge number the finer and more flexible it is, the lower the number (i.e. 5/6) the thicker and denser the wire is. These ones can be easily cut. The only thing I didn’t like about them is the green wrapping on the wire would frail right after being cut and makes it difficult to work with if you’re trying to insert them into a flower stem. Possibly because it’s not the best material..

Answer:	These carving tools from yellowhammer come with a good factory edge. They do need to be finished with a fine sharpening stone and leather strop. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these tools for the money.

The compressor is mounted to a piece of 3/4" partical board (I still need to carpet it), which is mounted to some 1"x1"x1/8" angle steel, which I sandwich clamped onto my Garvin Wilderness interior rack in my 2015 Xterra which the legs were wrapped with a few wraps of "F4" or "self fusing tape" as found here on Amazon. The prevents damaging the finish on the legs, and provides another layer of vibration and noise dampening. Answer:	You’re either going to want a grindstone + leather strop or an assortment of sharpening files if you have to do it by hand. That deep crescent chisel is the most annoying one to do IMO. I ended up having to re-shape a couple of them because they were so crooked, but they sharpen just fine.

DAR01B is an air flow regulator. Also known as an “air flow valve”, it is used to control air flow for the end air pressure system. It is used to connect directly to the air tool to manage the flow of the air output. It can be adjusted only if it is in use. If it is not in use, the value is not the exact reading. When the source of air pressure changes, the value of the regulator will change. It's suitable for the fixed air pressure source.

Air pressure regulator, on the other hand, is usually set on the front end of an air pressure system. It can limit the air pressure export. It can also be used on the end connecting to the air tool but it will be a little heavier. It is best installed to regulate the air pressure from the air source.

Check Pressure

Unscrew the knob, and apply the tip of the pressure checker to your tire pressure escape valve. If you hear the sound of air escaping, like a faint whistle, then you’re doing it right. Losing a tiny bit of air from applying/removing your gauge isn’t going to mess with your tire pressure all too much, so don’t worry.

Check it cold: The tires get cold enough after at least three hours of parking or if you’ve been driving for maximum a mile at moderate speed.

Add Air

Connect the air compressor to inflate car tires, bicycle tires or other equipment. Squeeze the inflation trigger to add air, and monitor the pressure from the LCD display.

Note: Make sure your air compressor is compatible with 1/4" NPT quick-connect male fitting.

Deflate Tires

If your tires are overinflated, press the air bleeder valve to drain excessive air pressure.

Note: Don’t count on the tire pressure tested during deflating. After deflating, the static tire pressure is the current pressure.

Question:	Can i run a small hvlp gun with this? The gun runs around 7cfm at 29psi
Answer:	I read that one individual purchased the MAC700, which is the next one down in size. In cold weather, his compressor would not start, and had to be continually reset. He finally drained all of the oil out of the compressor, and replaced it with synthetic oil. After that, it started up and ran fine in cold weather. I understand others have stated that you are only supposed to use the factory advised oil, but under dire circumstances, it worked fine for this Gentleman. That may be because Makita builds air compressors that are practically indestructible.
Question:	Is the tank corrosion free
Answer:	Disregard comment from SAJITH MATHEW, as this compressor arrives with only enough oil for 1 one the initial fill-up! The enclosed manual will tell you the "weight" of oil to use. As for "brand", that's entirely up to you, but whatever you choose, be sure that that oil is for AIR COMPRESSORS, only!! After a bout 100 hrs of use, I just recently changed over to "Royal Purple 01513 Synfilm Recip 100 H Perf Synethetic Air Compressor" oil ava. on Amazon, as it performs better at lower temperatures, since I'm in Northern New Mexico where it can be below 30* even in April/May.
Question:	I'm using tekton 46135 3/8" id hose with milton s-212 1/4" npt m style connectors and the 2010a seems to leak air. anyone has similar issues
Answer:	The primary determiner, beyond motor size (HP rating), cylinder volume and piston mass that dictates how much current (Amps) is drawn by the compressor at any given moment, from startup with a empty tank to restart for recharging a pressure regulated tank, is a dynamic value that is a function of backpressure at the compressor output from the storage tank(s). The amount of power (watts), be it instantaneous or free running, is a function of Amps x Volts (110-120) = Watts, up to the maximum wattage rating of the compressor motor. As side note, the motor as it becomes hot from use, also losing some electrical efficiency as the internal winding resistance inside the motor increases with temperature, creating a slight increase in voltage drop across the windings, requiring the motor to draw more current. A person brashly accusing Makita of being "weaselly" (nouns transform into adjectives, not adverbs) should, at minimum, know the difference between power consumption and amps drawn, thus non weasels like question that in reality is seeking two separate answers. Question:	What is the maximum size tire this device can inflate? Also what size tire was used in the inflation times quoted in the ad
Answer:	No. It does come with one switch and the wiring harness has provisions for two additional switches and two solenoids at the compressor end of the harness. The instructions state that the solenoids and switches are part of the ARB locker kit(s). You can probably also buy switches and solenoids separately.

Answer:	I cannot believe Amazon and ARB have not jumped on the fact that they do NOT list "what's in the box"! Shame on Amazon!Check the ARB website.It does indeed come with all you listed above except I am not sure if it has the mounting clamp or backing plate. I bought mine as a replacement for the same unit after 7 years of service. I did not need anything except the compressor. Good luck.
