I drive on the beach and need a reliable compressor to air up four 35” tires from 15lbs to 70lbs. I purchased this compressor based on the Duty cycle rating (thats how long it can run before shutdown/cooldown) happens. This compressor states it has a 40 minutes run duty cycle then requires a 40 minute cool down.. THIS IS NOT TRUE, NOT EVEN CLOSE. Says you can inflate eight 35” tires, ONCE AGAIN, NOT TRUE NOT EVEN CLOSE, Got to the second tire filled it half way then OverHeats and duty cycle shuts it down for 40 minute cool down....TRULY DISAPPOINTED by this compressor when off road this unit is a lifeline so it must work....The stats on this unit are great if they were true, twin cyc, 2-3 min per tire, fill 8 tires with 40 min duty cycle, plus about $150 vs $350-$500 for top line Vair compressors.. it has 2.3CFM Free Flow @ 0 PSI which is nice but its it overheats in 7-9 minutes under load it become useless.. Thought i had a lemon so returned for new unit from factory and no difference, new unit still shuts down 7-9!min under load. So my review, or advise on CFM, and Stats for this compressor is SAVE YOUR MONEY, DON’T BUY THIS UNIT, VERY DISAPPOINTED. It's tires that have not been running on the road that day and when checked tin the shade (because the sun will add psi) at 70 degrees air temp. For every 10 degrees higher or lower than 70 add or subtract 1 psi. So if my car calls for 32 psi and I'm checking at 50 degrees outside air temp then I'd put them at 30 psi. After running a car on the highway (especially in the summertime) they will read quite a bit higher than cool down the longer the car sits.
