Answer:	Depends on the load. There is a few feet of slack to let you attach from further away. As long as you can go opposite directions from the front and rear tires you should be OK. (Example, rear tires the straps go backwards away from car, and front tires the straps go forward away from the car). But it certainly doesn't and shouldn't go directly parallel from the tires, the car could move if you do.

Answer:	I've been using the wheel straps for about a month now, and it profroms so well. It's so strong to secure the tires and the vehicle on the trailer. I don't think I'll need to buy tire straps for years.

Answer:	We used the straps on a Dodge 1 ton dually with 20" wheels (285 60R20) and they worked great! I have 33's on my Toyota pickup and wouldn't hesitate to use these straps to haul it.
Question:	How do the tire straps work thru the rim when it shows the ratchet hook in the 2 ends of the strap. Is there a strap for ratchet with hook for D ring
Answer:	The kit I have came with tire straps as shown on the tires pictured and axle straps. The ratchet clips onto D rings that insert into the stake pockets on my trailer. The tire straps should have a ring on one end and a bare end to feed into the ratchet. I use mine as shown and don't run them through the wheels to avoid cutting them.
