Answer:	You can not pump gear oil or transmission oil using this product. They both have a high viscosity. To pump these fluid might cause the overheating in the motor and melted wires, or even burst into flames.

Question:	Can you attach this to an indoor sink or bathtub to fill a blow up pool
Answer:	Yes, works great as long as you purchase the clamps with it. Without clamps, the water pressure will push it off the faucet. I use it to wash my dog outside with warm water. Its best to not have a nozzle holding water pressure at the end of hose. Keep hose open with water flowing and clamps on the water bandit & its perfect for what i use it for
Question:	Can I use to connect and drain my hot water heater
Answer:	The brass threaded male part of the water bandit is a standard GHF (garden hose fitting) that is on any 5/8 or 3/4 inch garden hose. The rubber end is technically intended to fit over a stripped male water hydrant faucet or a stripped male hose end. However, if the male fitting has been cut off of a 5/8 or 3/4 inch hose, you can force the cut hose end into the rubber end of the water bandit and get somewhat of a decent seal. Sticking the cut end of the hose into the bandit and then securing with a hose clamp is a better approach. In any case, you probably will not be able to apply full water pressure to the water bandit connection. It is meant as a temporary fix to just get you by - but it does work. I've used it at dump stations where the brass fitting has been cut off the end of the fresh water hose and then connected the dump station hose to my own hose to flush out my black tank.
Question:	Can this be used in the garden? I'm looking for a cheap 25' hose and this is the cheapest. Will be for light watering/car washing only
Answer:	No. It doest stretch hardly at all. It only allows you to push it over an outside water faucet that maybe the threads have been stripped or is just a water pump type with no threads at all. Not to go over a kitchen faucet. When you push it on its thick so it allows for a good seal. Doesn't stretch much but conforms.
Question:	Is this a good choice for an RV hose? Camco makes a 22833 for $17. Is it any better? Kinking? Durability? Leaking? Compactness
Answer:	I may be wrong but I don’t think it will fit over the faucet, if you can get it on you may need a hose clamp to keep it on while washing the 🐶

Answer:	If used with a residential style water heater you shouldn't have any problems.

Answer:	I believe the only difference is that the garden filter filters out chloramine as well as chlorine.... but that is a huge difference. I called my city water department and asked for someone who could tell me if there was chloramine in our city water. If you don't have chloramine, I would think the 40043 would be sufficient. I used the 40691 because that's the one I started with. No complaints and it's already gone through 2 summers with no reduced water flow to speak of!
Question:	Does this plug seal under pressure or will it just keep dirt ect. from entering the end of hose
Answer:	Hi Joey, the number of uses is dependent on the quality of the water being filtered. The more impurities that are in the water that is being filtered the shorter the amount of time it will last. The best thing to do is pay attention to the water flow out of the filter. When it begins to slow noticeably then the filter is ready to be changed out. Also, keep in mind that the slower the water flows through the filter the better the filter will perform.
Question:	How does this go on the hose? I purchased 3/4" poly tubing. Do I need threads or does the plug just push in
Answer:	Hi Greg,That is a difficult question because it really depends on the quality of the water coming into the filter. The more "stuff" that needs to be filtered the quicker it will get used up. The best thing to do is to monitor the flow rate. When the flow begins to slow down noticeably it is time to change.

Answer:	I'm not certain I totally understand your question. This is a cover intended to close the tank opening where you fill with fresh water to be used with the water pump, or the opening to the pressured water system within your RV where you connect to the "city" water when you have hookups. You use it to close off one of these openings for travel, not when you are filling the fresh water tank and not when you are connected to hookups at the campground. It is solid to keep the water system clean and enclosed during travel, not while you are camping if you have hookups; and not when you are filling the fresh water tank for dry camping with no hookups.

Answer:	Only for short periods of 3 to 4 days. However it held up fine to 40-60 psi pressure which is not surprising given the nylon-braid reinforced thick tubing used. I would think it be at least as good as those short extender hoses you can buy which are much thinner. HTH...

Answer:	We bought this for the RV for drinking and whatever water. It is a regular hose so probably could be used anywhere a hose is used. Might be cheaper to buy one for the garden that doesn't have the potable water rating.

Studies have been done that show a large amount of lead leaches from the hose into the water as it passes through. It is best to buy lead-free hoses for both your RV and your garden. Answer:	I don't see a list of ingredients. They do not rust so I'd guess the screen is a fine mesh stainless steel. I can think of no reason the mesh or washer would be toxic, I'd use it with potable water.

Question:	Is there a reason that there is no certification stamp on the product or package indicating lead free compliance
Answer:	Most new hoses have an off taste when first used. I usually run some water through the hose, a minute or so, before I connect to my RV. This helps wash out any left over chemicals from the manufacturing process. Most off tastes disappear after a short while. It is also recommend that you use an inline water filter with activated charcoal to remove chemicals and off tastes. There are several filters on the market for this and are good for a couple months before you need to change them. Most water systems you connect to will probably have a bad taste or odor. Something it's just the chemicals used by the local water plant or the well.
Question:	What size hose does it fit
Answer:	I just got the camcorder EvoFlex hose and I wrapped it with heavy duty aluminum foil then I taped the heat tape about every 5 or six inches to the hose wrapped in tin foil. Then I took foam insulation and completely taped it around the hose tape and tin foil. It has not been cold enough to use it yet but I did the same thing with Apex neverkink 25’x 1/2 fresh water hose and used it for two years in temperatures down in the teens. I can not see that there would be any difference.
