Answer:	It might, but I would be hesitant because I don't think the alkaline batteries will work or do well in the cold of the freezer. It was not designed for that temperature. Hope that helps.

Answer:	There is no need to have an LED light on the fan. What is wanted/needed is to move the air inside to minimize the freezing on the cooling fins. There are a few choices available, but none really stand out. The alternative is to turn down the sensor that controls the temperature ( or keep the door closed ). You may have a seal leak that is letting in air

Answer:	I like this fan, many have no on/off switch.. but For your question, not that I have seen...

Answer:	Uh, No. Mine pulls just over 5 amps on high (roughly 63 watts) and I would guess closer to 1 amp on low. (12 watts) I love this fan and consider it one of the best upgrades I made in my TT.

Answer:	i'm not sure, but i try to conserve electricity and i haven't had any problems leaving this fan set to the Auto setting at 78ºF. the fan is quiet and has a brushless motor i believe. i am particular about accessories and their design. i like this fan a lot. i've also installed the vent cover on mine and often leave the vent open for days at a time with no issues. i highly recommend this fan.

Answer:	Officially the MaxxAir FanMate is the correct cover. I already had a MaxxAir II and put that back on top of it. It works fine. Vent doesn't fully open but it opens plenty... as much as it does with any other vent.

Answer:	Yes, the inside gets the trim ring which is supplied. You adjust it's depth by cutting it to fit the thickness of your ceiling. The outside fan unit has its own flange built in as you can see from the picture. Not difficult to install, just be sure to measure carefully before cutting the depth of the inside trim ring.

Answer:	If you have your fridge packed (limited air flow) you may want the fan on the shelf just below the cooling fins. The air over these fins should dissipate to the rest of the fridge and improve your overall cooling. If you have a lightly packed fridge (unobstructed air flow), put the fan at the bottom as others have suggested.

Answer:	Yes you can. The filter is just a small packet that can be pulled out. I bought this for a large humidor and, like you, wasn't concerned about odor. In fact, I needed to remove the filter. Just know that you will have to replace the batteries every 3-4 weeks and they use D cells.
