Answer:	This goes on like paint and several coats are needed. Any large holes or cracks should be sealed with a roof sealant first then several coats with this.

Answer:	absolutely not; it peeled off after only a few months. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. i followed directions precisely, and now i have a mess and dead fish.
Question:	Will this work on a RV rubber foof
Answer:	When I applied it to my RV it would pull up if not fully dry. Once dry it seemed to stick fine. They make a primer to improve adhesion but I did not use it. I am pretty satisfied with the product, but to get thin coats is not easy without the proper tools (thin nap roller and squeegee) If concerned about sticking to your roof, I'd recommend checking out the primer.

Answer:	Hi. Thanks for your question! Although Encore is perhaps the toughest wood deck coating on the market, if the boat deck is wood and stays saturated, we would not recommend this product. If the deck is steel, then it would do well. The surface would just need to be properly cleaned and prepared prior to application. If you have any other questions, please feel free to to contact us. Question:	will this work on rooled roofing/ fiberglass shingles
Answer:	I don't know why the reviews are so old. I purchased one container of Encore Wood Deck Coating last September (I think) to rehabilitate an old, splintered, weathered 10' X 12' dock. I sanded and washed the deck before applying the coating and it sealed beautifully. I had enough for two thick coats on the 120 sq.ft. dock and one on the 15' ramp that leads to it. The coating is THICK and requires a good amount of work to get it into the cracks and holes in the wood. Again, mine was badly pocked and cracked but between a long-nap roller and a brush, I was able to create a well-sealed surface. The cool thing is that the paint I used to tint the Encore coating (Glidden, Florida Panthers Dark Red) is the same as what I used for the railings and posts. There is a slight difference in color, but it blends well enough to look uniform.
Question:	what is the best procedure to apply this product
Answer:	This product does create a thermal layer between your feet and the concrete. When you apply Cool to your concrete surface, it helps to create a heat sink in the soil below the slab. This means that the heat is actually pulled through the slab and dissipates into the soil. This is much better than a coating that would reflect the heat upwards. It is an amazing technology. Answer:	Bill. The deck needs to be clean and free from any loose or peeling material. Loose nails should be replaced with deck screws and warped or deficient boards should be repaired or replaced. The Encore site has videos and a great FAQ page for more information.

Answer:	I used them to apply oil-based high performance clean metal primer with no problem, I may have went through a few more but considering cost it was well worth it and I would have probably done the same with any other brand. Love these and highly recommend.

Answer:	Depends on how many coats you want. If your roof is black down to the rubber, if put a minimum 3 coats. 1 and a third to 1 and a half gallons per coat for a 38 foot.

Answer:	Being a long time rv'er, black would be a terrible color. It will fade quickly and bake in the summers, especially if you live in the south.

Answer:	Just to add to the above answer, Eternabond Roof-Seal has shiny white roofing film, possibly pvc roofing, that is meant to be the top protective layer. To coat this product, you could rough up the finish with coarse sandpaper or use a roof primer made specifically for this purpose. It comes in spray on or brush on. I used a different Eternabond product, called Web-Seal. It has a knitted polyester fabric top, that is made to accept coatings, like Liquid Roof, Dicor, or cheaper elastomerics.
Question:	Does this product protect against sun damage
Answer:	Yes. It protects the ultra violet light from damaging the EDM rubber top. That's the main purpose of the product. Without the coating, the top will start to turn to chalk and or crack causing leaks. Was a lot of dirty work, but saved me from needing to replace the EDM rubber top {$3500.00 to $4500.00.
