Answer:	Not really sure. I saved the cap and I am going to have it checked. It does screw in to the filter housing, and it does look good but immediately after installing it my 7.3 was sucking air. It was installed with a new gasket that I lubricated as normal. Finally pulled it out and put back in a motorcraft cap and filter. Problem gone. Sorry I don’t have any more info until I have a guy look at it closely for me. He’s going to bench pressure and vacuum test it.
