I assume the recommended 5 yr replacement period is to take into account the manufacturing to consumer time. There used to be a YouTube video but now I can't find it. | Answer: | I know what you mean, I had the same problem. If you work with the pouch it will stretch. The first time I tried to install the ResQLink in the pouch it didn't want to go in at all until I stretched the heck out of it and crammed the ResQLInk in there. I tried slipping the flap on the pouch through the loop in the top of the ResQLink to get more room but that didn't work as well as I hopped it would so I just crammed the ResQLink in the pouch as far as I could and then stretched the flap as far as I could and it worked better after I did it a few times. The pouch should definitely be a little bigger, it sure doesn't fit like the picture shows. I use the ResQLink on the belt of my motorcycle riding pants and so far it has worked alright. I did install a leash from the ResQLink to my belt loop for additional security because I didn't feel good how it fit in the pouch. Good Luck, sorry I couldn't be more helpful. |

Our kits are designed to be installed without any specialty tools. Each kit includes a detailed instruction manual to walk you through the installation process. No disassembling strut assemblies, just bolt on and go with a basic hand tool set. We do strongly recommend performing an alignment after altering the suspension of your vehicle.

| Answer: | Yes they will work. Know a few people already who swapped out oem strut assembly and had 2.5-3 inch leveling kit already and just took off and put on these strut assemblies. If you think about it, you read about so many people adding to stock suspension and have no issues with the strut assembly themselves but if any issues it's with their ball joints or something in that nature. But to answer your question you can. I have these with a 2.5 in leveling kit and have had no issues. Just be watchful of all your ball joints when it comes to a 2.5-3 in leveling kit. Too much stress on stock suspension then you might as well do a small lift kit. Hope this helps. |
