Answer:	What car are you trying to fit this in? The standard power for US consumer road vehicles has been 12V. since ~1960. The prior answer is more or less correct providing you have a 12V. source. Since the lamp current draw is quite low a suitable 12V. battery would be a possible solution if you were able to recharge it regularly.

Answer:	I live in Arizona too. I have been seeing headlights wrapped with this type of film. It requires a heat gun or how blow dryer to apply. I am sure that our heat will just help with the adhesion. I was told that it shrinks when the heat is applied. So we might need to make it a tad bigger than the cooler states will need.
