Answer:	This was a new part and not a rebuilt. There was a warranty available for it at an extra price but I elected not to take it. Installed distributor and have had no issues.

Why did the engine swap from my 302 to a 351 in my 1972 Ford F100, I seem to remember that the water inlet for the water jacket from the radiator was also different from my 302.
