Answer:	You can slightly alter the button configuration, but you can't change the background or anything like that. There is a toggle for day or night mode that can be done with a configuration, or automatically depending on your setup.

Answer:	There is no additional hardware required (besides the stereo receiver of your choice) for steering wheel controls to function. If you want on star functionality I believe there is an additional module, but the steering wheel controls work fine without it.

For the 11-12 years, you can purchase a harness to either move the video signal from the mirror to the radio or split the signal to use the mirror and radio. Factory camera is not very clear on a bigger screen and you will also lose your backup lines by moving it to the radio. I chose to split it. Gen5diy

Answer:	Depends on the vehicle. I replaced the factory unit on a 2005 Honda Accord EX-L and was unable to use the stock covered compartment due to size limitations. Answer:	No, the heater control are different, they are set up for a 2009. Schoshe makes a nice replament for our truck. Found it on amazon for $240 with all the harnesses needed. Installing it this weekend.

Answer:	I don't know what radio you bought to replace your original equipment with. You can't use your old radio with this kit.
Question:	Are you able to maintain back up camera function with this kit
Answer:	No it is for the auto temp control set the temp and it will maintain that temp.
