However, our units are factory set to OBD mode by default and you can scroll the wheel to the left within 5 seconds of the car's head-up display being turned on to switch to GPS mode.

Pls. set up the unit as follows: 1. press the button for 2-3 seconds and turn on the power supply. 2. release the button after seeing "BUZZ" 3. press the button twice, then you can see "UNIT" 4. choose the right unit(km/h or mph) 5. after adjustment, the LED will come back to homepage, then all done. 6. Turn off the power supply, and turn on again. Speedometer will record the setting. The other pin of external button is connected to power negative.

Answer:	Hi, The Garmin Drive 50 comes with a window attachment, usb that can be used in your computer to update the garmin and it has a plug in for your car with an attached usb connector. I use the usb connector that I disconnect from the car attachment. The Garmin is great..it is speedy and easy to use. After updating and registering your garmin, plug it into your car and wait for it to find a signal. It may take a short time for it to find its location. My garmin is great.
