User questions & answers
Question: | Does it fit a 2009 nissan altima 2.5 S coupe |
Answer: | Yes, a 57356XP Wix filter fits your car |
Question: | I have used the 57356 in my 2005 honda accord 2.4 engine for the last few oil changes. Yet it shows on your page that it "does not fit" Why |
Answer: | It fits. Honda previously used a shorter, wider filter. The new size is backwards compatible. Honda only sells the newer style. |
Question: | Can i use this filter instead of wix51358 (same spec but longer and much cheaper |
Answer: | As long as the thread size, gasket diameter, micron size, and bypass are all equivalent or acceptable for your application, yes. I have reduced the number of filters needed for the fleet I work on by checking the engineering data in the wix book to find one filter to work across a number of vehicles or pieces of equipment with good results. Longer or larger diameter filters that meet the other specs acceptably just add more filtration. |
Question: | what's the difference between the 57356 and the 57356xp |
Answer: | According to WIX the XP uses a synthetic media and is made for extreme conditions. |
