Answer: It will help, but note you must manually empty the bowl as it fill s with water. I mainly use it to control air pressure. I have a refrigerated air drier at the beginning of my pneumatic system and this filter still removes moisture about 50 ft from the air drier; so the closer to your tool the better efficiency of moisture removal. The moisture drops out as the air cools.

Answer: This filter will work longer than 10000 miles as long as you use synthetic oil only. Synthetic oil can work even at 15000 miles, but your mileage may vary, especially if you drive more city miles than highway, or as in the manual, "severe duty." Besides that, for warranty purposes and the maintenance manual says to change every six months or 10000 miles. But my experience with this filter is that it works and is made better than the factory one.

Answer: I have a John Deere L130 with the Kohler 22 HP V2 engine. The Fram filter was supposed to work on my mower but did not. It looks similar to the OEM filter and the gasket surface is the same but something about the filter makes it leak. When I first installed it it started dripping oil so I thought it was a little loose. I tightened it but it still dripped a little. Then, one day I was mowing and luckily happened to look at the filter area on the engine and saw oil pouring out of it. I shut the engine down just in time thank god. I had bought 4 of the Fram filters (looking to save some money) and installed one of the others with the same result. I thought maybe the first one was defective but in reality I think there's something about the inside of the filter that causes pressure which forces oil out around the gasket. No matter how much I tightened the filter it still leaked. Don't buy the Fram filter, use the John Deere brand instead. If you still want to try the Fram filter keep an eye on it while your mower is running since it will probably leak like mine did. It ended up costing me extra money in lost oil and wasted filters instead of the savings I expected. Fram are good quality filters and I use them on all of my cars but this application is not correct.

Answer: It claims at the top here that this doesn't fit my 2012 Honda CR-V, but the K&N website says it does. Someone should correct the program listings here.

Answer: They rust and leak where the nut is welded on, they are total junk. Made in the worst Country for manufacturing anything, Mexico. Buy the cheap ecogard filters at least they don't leak oil.
