Answer:	it burns diesel or kerosene fuel consumption is about 1/2 gallon in a 12 hours period i guess thats 1.5 liters in 12 hours

Answer:	With the unit off it pulled 0.1 amp @ 12v. Running on low is between .5 & 1 amp. At startup and shut down it will use up to 11.5 amps while the glow plug is active. At 13.3v it dropped to 10.5 amps max.

Answer:	On the lowest setting it will average .5 to 1 ah. On startup and shut down it pulls up to 11.5 amps @ 12v. Running at full blast it pulls 3.5 to 3.7 amps. You will never keep it at full blast for long unless you like turning into human jerky while you sweat to death.

Answer:	The 2.2kw output is ideal for a 170. The only issue you may have I’d if it is poorly insulated. If you upgrade to the 5kw option, you run the risk of not running it hard enough and deposits build up. This is why a 2.2kw is ideal for vans and small rvs.
Question:	Why would I buy this when I can get the Chinese model for $200 that also includes the high altitude kit
Answer:	So I got the cheaper Chinese unit and a friend who had installed these before helped me install it so I know it was installed correctly. I am at approximately 7500 feet above sea level. It worked one time. Then it blew so it all over the inside of the van and blew smoke all over the outside. I bought another one set about replacing everything… And it worked for about 5 minutes. I have been instructed to buy the Esbar brand. Yes it is quite a bit more at $1100 versus $150. But now I’m out $300 and quite a bit of time and labor and frustration not to mention cold nights! Esbar, here I come!
