Answer:	No. K&N filters are cleaned with a soapy solution to degrease the filter. After the filter is rinsed and COMPLETELY dry you re-apply the K&N filter oil. Go to YouTube and search for K&N filter maintenance. There are other filter element options that do not have the K&N oil process. Just wash with soapy water, rinse and dry.

Question:	Should I be using regular cold tap water or hot water that has water softener
Answer:	The shelf life for the V5-Cell Filter is 2 years when stored properly. Due to the short storage life, it is highly recommended that you only purchase the V5-Cell Filter when filter replacement is needed.
Question:	Test strip showed neither red or green. How can I get a replacement test strip
Answer:	The black dust you are experiencing comes from the carbon inside the V5 Cell Filter. Carbon dust is common and depends on how the box is handled during shipping.
Question:	I need the boneco demineraliation cartridge 7531. Cant seem to find that anywhere. Could I use this as a substitute
Answer:	China? Isn’t that on the other side of the world? Maybe a slow boat could bring you one?
Question:	I have the 7135 ultrasonic humidifier. with this filter, would i still need to use a silver ionic stick or does this replace that
Answer:	Best to start running it with the filters you have now, rather than waiting; those will trap more mold spores anyway, and meanwhile you can still order the V5 and install it too once it arrives.
