| Answer: | I've only purchased one of these switches. On my G6 the entire installation went as follows. Remove the screw holding the switch cover, remove the cover, unplug the two multi pin connectors, remove the switch assembly from it's spring bracket, put the new switch into the bracket, replace the connectors, replace the cover and the screw. Check your car, remove the screw and the cover and look at the switch. If it looks like the proceeding will work then probably all you need is the switch assembly. Good luck. |

The complete fog lamp kit (plug and play) has been discontinued from GM parts, but on ebay you can get everything but the wiring harness. PM me at [email protected] if you need further help. | Answer: | Who’s I don’t know if my answer can help you but, be very careful you have the correct part number for that vehicle. There are numerous switches that look similar but are different and it is getting harder to get a OME parts for 97 Blazers. I just happen to get lucky this time. I did the same as you and took mine to the dealer. The only problem is the vehicle is older than a lot of the mechanics working there and they don’t know how to service older vehicles correctly. They may have screwed the day time running lights up. Their are three relays in glove box that control the DTRL. Look it up in the service manual. Good Luck |

Both had poor action with regards to deactivating the turn signal after a turn, and the cruise control failed on both. Finally went with the AC Delco part. Very glad I did, and only regret not buying one on my first go-around. |
