Answer:	I have one on my 1968 Corvette with the battery in a compartment behind the drivers seat. Just make it a little harder to get at.

Answer:	This clamp is sized to fit the smaller diameter negative post (the positive one is too large) of a 12 volt battery. If your 6 volt battery's positive post is also larger than the negative, then you'll have to use this on the "live" negative one, which, for your application, shouldn't pose a problem. A little useful hint, I used an electrical zip tie to keep the swiveling side post of the switch close to the battery terminal, so it stays put when you unscrew the knob to break the circuit. Answer:	I threw the top screw type away when I realized how easy it was to lose it and be completely out of luck. Go with the lever type.....it takes good finger strength to open and close and I highly doubt would juggle back into place while towing.

Answer:	And no there is no 12v plug or anything. Just has a positive and negative for wiring to your power supply of your choosing. And yes to needing to be wired up which is easier than you think.

Answer:	The CB has two wires built in so all you would need is a cigarette lighter socket adapter and wire it up. The wires are about 4' long so you should have no problems where you mount it. The wiring is very easy - that's the set up I have so I can unplug and remove the CB when I'm just driving around locally.

Answer:	It needs an antenna regardless? There is no internal one? Is it ok to leave the small antenna inside the vehicle? Like in the trunk or glove box?

Answer:	The 520XL can also be taken to any CB shop and be "peaked and tuned" to over double the factory power. This is a very common practice that any trucker will do with his/her CB. This radio, peaked and tuned will deliver 8.5-9.0 watts with 17-18 watt peaks. This is more than twice the factory (legal) power, and adds significant range and clarity to your radio. As far as I am aware, there are no other compact radios on the market with the ability to be peaked and having the RF gain control in a compact unit is AWESOME. This radio is a gem. Answer:	Max width is the distance between your sun visors. Rember to leave a little room for the visors to move up and down freely. Also remember the mike cord is in play as well. This "Jeep" bracket is best used with a radio with a front mounted mike cord.

You will either have to drill new holes to match your truck, or drill holes into your dash. Keep this in mind: the windshield on your truck might pose an issue when it comes to allowing fit of the bracket and your CB. The windshield on a TJ is almost vertical.

Answer:	If the Cobra 29 lx is a full size cb it will but that bracket isn't sturdy enough and will vibrate and shake around. I had a Uniden Bearcats 880S mounted to it and it had that issue. That bracket is more suitable for a smaller unit like a Uniden 520XL.

Answer:	This is just a windshield mount. You will take the factory mount that came with your CB and attach it to this one. Keep in mind. You may need to drill holes if your factory CB mount in order to attach it to this mount. Thats what I had do to with mine.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend using a butterfly toggle, you'd have to hack up the windshield frame to get them to work. I'd recommend installing rivnuts or using rivets for a more secure mounting solution

Answer:	Its made to mount to the upper right bolts, but will work on the lower left if you are not using the stock spare tire mount. Otherwise it only works on the upper right (passenger) bolts.
Question:	can't it be used with TJ
Answer:	As far as I'm aware, it is model specific.

Answer:	You could mount it to the bottom right. It would be up side down. Grab a few washers as a stand off from the spare tire. It will angle in without them.

Answer:	It can, you may just need to get a longer bolt though.

Answer:	No, it is for JL only.

Answer:	There is no drilling required just make sure you have a T-55 bit to remove the original tailgate bolts. Also when you have a flag on it you will not be able to open the back glass with the tailgate open as a heads up!
