Answer:	Hi, Robert! Thanks so much for the great question!! The water softener you are putting in your tank will not harm the bacteria in TankTechsRx and the soap is only a problem if you use excessive amounts. TankTechsRx is able to hold up under the "normal" use of household chemicals because they are generally used in relatively small amounts (a squirt here, a couple spritzes there) and diluted with plenty of water. Now, that being said, we can also offer a little more info than you asked for! ha ha The use of water softener in holding tanks is great if you are in an area where there is especially hard water. If you are truly combating actual hard water deposits (e.g., calcium, limestone), adding water softener could help. However, what we have learned over the years is that most of what RVers are being told is "hard water deposits" in the black tank is actually a mineralization caused by the breakdown of waste. That particular mineral (struvite) is better treated by the bacteria in TankTechsRx since our product not only softens it to help it come out of the tank, but also inhibits its formation in the first place. As for putting soap in the tank as a tank treatment, once again, TankTechsRx is able to much more efficiently deal with the real problems in both black tanks and gray tanks, making the use of soap unnecessary as well. Question:	Does this come with the pin if not what pin do you need
Answer:	After more than 30 years of RVing, 9 yrs of fulltime, i have developed a fairly conservative approach. I do not waste my time and money on RV toilet paper and buy from the grocery store. I have done a test, as mentioned previously, on several brands comparing them to RV paper. I find that the paper designated as "safe for septic systems" is fine for RV use. Dong the test you will find that many of these regular products breakdown much better and faster than the RV product. To do the test, wad up about three squares of TP and place in a tall glass 3/4 full of clear water, push down and let sit for about 30 seconds, then cover the top with your hand and shake 4 times - compare the RV paper with others of your choice in separate glasses of water. The Tank TechRX is excellent at breaking this down even further but most important is breaking down the other solids. If anyone has a sewer spill, gray or black water, you will find this product does an excellent job of eliminating the odor and getting the spill started down the path of safe cleanup. Just put two capfulls of the TTRX into a large sprayer bottle with water and thoroughly drench the wetted area of the spill. This will stop the odor almost immediately, breakdown the waste, and will not damage the vegetation on the ground or harm animals that cross the area.

Answer:	Top step is even with reciever hitch, the lower step is only about 3" lower. I put on F-150, and spare tire is about same height as bottom of step.
Question:	Does it work with the tailgate down
Answer:	Don't know, as I had to remove my tailgate due to camper overhang. Also, I drilled a new hole for the hitch pin which cut the gap between the top step and the camper by about 4 inches. Okay, I just went out and checked. It looks like the lowered tailgate will be about 6 inches above the top step. This is on a 2011 Ford F350 with factory hitch.

Answer:	Bottom of receiver down to first step is 3 inches. Bottom of receiver to top step is 7-1/2 inches. Thus the distance from bottom step to top step is 10-1/2 inches.
Question:	If you put the steps into the hitch, how much space between each step? Our camper will be 3 feet from the ground
Answer:	I think it was about 11" but am away from home and can check when I return. But would make a suggestion to you, On the part of the square tube that is away from the steps, past the hitch pin cut off about 2 1/2 inches at a 45 degree angle top to bottom, on the 90 degree end of the part you cut off weld on a heavy duty washer then get a forged 3/8 eye bolt to make the hitch stable. You put the step tube into the receiver ,align the eye end of the eye bolt to the hitch pin, put in the pin, then take the angle cut parts realign with threaded eye bolt threw the washer and tighten . As the angle cut sections come together all the slop in the steps is gone, Also makes it harder for someone to take with out tools.

Anti Rattle Device

Bracket-knob style, anti-rattle device that maintains a constant physical connection between the hitch section of the step and the vehicle's hitch receiver, minimizing the possibility of metal-on-metal noise during transit.

Adjustable Settings

Dominator side step allows for adjusment to three different positions. This provides the extra extension sometimes needed in step applications where hitch receivers are mounted too close to the chassis of vehicles for the step to clear the edge of bumpers. Adjustability is also handy to gain more leverage from the step as needed in varied applications.

Two-Tiered Hitch Step

Integrated into the upper step is a rubberized step pad with treaded segments. Answer:	Any hitch made in China is going to rattle. 1 in 10 will be snug to the point of not rattling. But its EASILY fixed with a chip of wood, plastic, metal wedge, etc.
