| Answer: | This depends on what parts of the SUV you are trying to paint and if you plan on using a white base coat. I have a 2015 Chevy Colorado. To paint all 4 door handles, front and rear Chevy Bowtie emblems, plus Colorado emblems (x 3) I used a total of 4 cans of the camo color and 2 cans of white (even though my truck is white it's still recommended you use a base coat). I've changed the color on my truck several times and typically use 4 cans but I always order 6 just in case 😊 |

I’d say to do a nice job, around three; however at that point you might want to just get the case of six being the price per can goes down and you’d have extra for touch ups or future parts you might want to convert to the fairings color? I believe I used 3 cans or so on my jeep XJ‘s hood also doing the underside just one pass though. I think it’s important with all “spray paints” but doing a north south- east west- diagonal passes on the item for equal coverage is especially important with plastidip IMO Hope that helps, good luck. |
