Answer:	You will need to let the paint fully cure before heating for the best durability, subjecting the paint to heat before it cures can lead to bubbling and/or flaking.

Answer:	Anytime you mix wood and heat you could be asking for trouble ! 1000 watts is approx. 400 degrees fahrenheit, like others mentioned testing, is caution with a positive outcomes. Proceed carefully.

Answer:	Hey Josh, Pretty much like any other Clear Coat. It does work. Should re spray a couple of coats. It will last for awhile,depending how it's used!! Hope this helps! {wolfman}

Answer:	Yes. I've used it on my brake calipers and it works great. Depending on how much you drive you may have to touch it up to keep it bright every so often but that's going to happen regardless of what paint you use because brake dust, etc. I use this because its high temperature.
Question:	Is it OK to use a gray primer and then use a hot pink paint over top of the gray
Answer:	Primer of any kind will be good for a nice finish for whatever you are painting. I recommend 3 light coats of primer lightly sanded in between. When getting ready to apply you engine paint, beware, this is thick paint. It has heavy particulate matter which is the paint. I recommend that you turn the paint can upside down for 3 to 4 hours. This paint settles heavily. After several hours upside down, shake violently to get it mixed well. After that don't spray too close to your target surface. Do not spray at any temp less than 72 degrees fahrenheit, and spray evenly side to side about 5 to 6 inches, from surface.

Answer:	Yes especially if it is an alloy box but if the box is made of wood you might want to seal and prime it with the high temperature primer first and make sure that there are no cracks before you go over it with the rust oleum high temp paint, for best results!

Answer:	I bought 6 cabs and did my gas grill inside and out. After it cured, I ran it for 30 minutes without food. I have a "holder" to grill fish so I am using that for all cooking so I and not cooking directly on the painted area. If after a month it holds up, I will do test cooking on it directly for the stray cats.

Answer:	You did not do anything wrong. This particular paint is not durable at all, but it withstands very very high temps. If you need high heat AND durability, then you need to look into some of the high heat Cerakote and Duracoat products, which are much more involved in applying than this is. I just answered another question on here, and in that answer I mentioned watching YouTube vids of ppl using this paint. In this vids, you'll see they are very delicate w the painted objects after cured when re-installing the object in a car engine compartment, for example. The ONLY thing this paint is good at is withstanding very high heat and being applied relatively easily and cheaply. Ps. I guess I should mention that this product is sometimes sold as an "enamel" but this particular paint is not truly what you'd call an enamel. Enamel implies high durability, and this does not have high durability.
Question:	What temperatures are required to cure the paint multiple times at various temperatures in an oven? Will the final coating survive any contact with food
Answer:	24 hours AFTER painted - place in oven one hour @ 175 degrees. A second curing a few hours later is sometimes helpful.Any contact with food in either direction is bad. (part to food / food to part)Make sure wife is out of town.Cook 2 or 3 pizzas one after another to help disguise smell.

Answer:	I don't think it needs a clear coat because it seems to hold up pretty well on my brake drums. I painted them on April 2016 and they still look great. The paint seems to be thick but goes on well. The paint goes a long way to me seeing as I didn't hardly use much at all to paint 2 drums on the rear. Expensive but great paint. Hope this helps ! Question:	Do you need to prime
Answer:	Yes, use Por-15 Metal prep over bare metal. My engine was about 1/2 decent paint, and 1/2 rusted metal. I cleaned off the rust, userd the metal prep over the entire surface, and it worked well. I'd also recommend the Por-15 Engine Degreaser too for the initial cleaning.

Answer:	Dude....this paint is insane.... it’s pricey but after u see the finish product you won’t believe it with your own eyes... when using it use a foam brush.... I no your probably not like using that type of brush but a reg. Paint brush kind of shows the brush strokes. Also when this stuff dries it looks even better than when u first put it on.... Answer:	i am using this to paint my truck engine, and it would be a lot hotter then your hot water boiler box in your house. So I wouldn't think you would have a problem.

Answer:	No you don’t but clean your gun real fast and of course use a good quality respirator, POR has a thinner/reducer for the POR 15. I dare say lacquer thinners might do just as well. It doesn't take much thinning for spraying so the stuff goes a long way.

Answer:	I used a chip brush. There cheap and you can throw at out after each use. Just make sure you wear disposable gloves, you don't want to get any on your hands. This is great paint and easy to apply.

Answer:	If you are painting a part that gets really hot use the VHT very high heat primer. It's rated up to 2000 degrees. If it's a normal part that won't be exposed to high heat you can use normal primer like krylon or dupli-color.
