Answer:	It will go onto rubber but there is no guarantee how long it would last. Best to contact the manufacturer directly

Answer:	Yes, it seems completely water proof, I used it on some vinyl tubing that was continually immersed in water for several weeks and that didn't seem to affect it at all.

Answer:	Yes, looked ok but did not look great though. I ended up using RIT dye instead. I microwaved some water, till it started steaming, and combined everything in a spray bottle and went at it. Make sure carpet is clean and dry be careful with spray bottle, it will be hot.

Answer:	I would not advice painting a chair with another chair. It will not stick and it will look bulky on a chair if you manage to get it to stick.

Answer:	I have used it in automotive application. If the can say's that it will stick to vinyl, then it should work fine. Your preparation of the vinyl, before painting, should be done. i have found that wiping with Naphtha, takes most oily, and other dirt that could ruin your job. Good Luck. Answer:	This one is charcoal grey and tb101 is flat black

Answer:	Follow these steps and it will last longer. Lets say you got polish on the plastic or rubber or lets say it is several years old and faded. First wash area with automotive wash product, then dry in sun. Next purchase a grease and wax remover (Dupli-color brand CM543 is a good brand) clean area good and allow to dry. Take a clean cloth that does not leave lent and wipe off area. Tape off (automotive paint grade) and cover up large area not to be painted (spray paint will float with or without breeze) . Apply several lite coats instead of one heavy coat allowing each to dry each time. Once color is uniformed then remove tape and other materials covering the rest of vehicle. Once paint has dried let set in sun for several hours and do not wash vehicle for a few days. It will work

Answer:	This is a flat black paint. Specifically used for side steps, door handles, and bumpers. Anything that was flat black before, will look really good afterward. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I used one can for a bumper and 2 side steps on my truck, with paint to spare. This is definitely a paint, as you want to tape off any area that you do not want to be black. It has restorative qualities to it and definitely makes a noticeable difference

Answer:	I tried it on my sun visors which are a similar material to carpet, but not exactly. While the rustolium is supposed to work, i found that the duplicolor fabric and vinyl worked much better on the visors because it was a bit thinner and absorbed better in the fabric. With the duplicolor The fabric is still more or less the same texture afterward. The rustoleum however gooped up on the fabric because it was thicker and did not penetrate it and looked bad and was not the same texture but now a hard feeling with globs here and there. I ended up deciding on a lighter color grey so went to junk yard to get another set of sun visors and I painted them only with the duplicolor. They cam out the best. So I suggest the duplicolor for all cloth fabrics and rugs and the rustoleum for vinyl and plastic only.

Answer:	You should search interior colors used on the year and model of your car. Colorbond may have an exact match or find one that looks very close. Another brand that makes upholstery dye is SEM.

Answer:	Another way to see the color. If on the door panel just pop the panel off and look for the stamp or a paper with the color on it. My Chevy burb has the colors on the doors as well as the glove box. I wanted to know what they used for my two color interior. The glove box did not match. A freind who works interior designs and custom work. Told me about it and it matches. The dash cap also lists all the colors for the dash even. Since I already know mine from the door it made it easier to find the paint color I needed.

Answer:	Yes, their material notes if you hunt hard enough that it works on exterior surfaces. But since all your exterior is already faded or color changed a little, you have to do it all. Worked great after 6 months in Florida sun- it evened out all the colors so they were all the same. But, like the original plastic, they will still fade if unprotected with UV Spray.

Answer:	If the outdoor furniture is ABS Plastic, it should work. Just read the label for its' application.

Answer:	As long as you use it over plastic and foll the instructions, yes. I let it just det dry to the point that it doesn't look wet and start painting. I have used it for years an had zero adhesion failures on plastics.

Answer:	The back label states that it covers 12-14 square feet. Hope this helps.
Question:	After applying this to bare plastic, do I need a primer before the base coat? Or can I just apply the base color coat to this
Answer:	What this stuff does is essentially chemically break down the surface of the plastic so that when you paint, which you must do immediately, the color binds with the dissolved plastic and as the adhesion promoter dries/evaporates you are left with a surface where the plastic material and the foreign material (paint) is dissolved together. This allows the next coat to bind with the first coat and the third coat to bind with the second and so on. Don't wait for this stuff to dry. Follow the directions on the can carefully. If you let it dry then the plastic has already re-formed and your first coat is not going to bind.
