Answer:	I used it on slate which is also not textured and it looks good. What’s nice is you can always add more white and wipe it off. I think it would look nice on flat brick as well. Double check their site and what others have to say though. Best of luck on your project!

Answer:	Even though this is for "brick", I dont see why you couldn't. Make sure the surface is free of debris and oils. Thr stone is naturally pourus and should be able to 'soak' up the paint. I would however not recommend it be placed on floor surfaces as it will likely come back up over time and fade from traffic. But on a fireplace and or hearth it shouldn't be a problem.

Answer:	Barely any. I broomed and used a damp sponge to wipe dust away. Then I let it dry before I started to use the product. I LOVED this product.

Answer:	I used the BCP404 blue kit on the black Dodge RAM 1500 I use to have and it turned out great. I had the truck for over a year after I applied the paint and I saw no chipping / wear on the paint so it holds up well and it is worth it. Hints: (1) Get a lot of good brake cleaner, clean the calipers well and dry them completely before starting. (2) Open the kit and throw away the paint brush that comes with it. It's a hard bristled application brush, not a paint brush. Invest a few dollars in 2 or 3 soft bristled paint brushes for models / arts & crafts and use them. This will take the streaks out of the paint and keep it smooth. (3) If possible, let the paint dry but then also wait a day before you drive the vehicle to let it cure well before you put heat to the calipers. I think you'll love the results.

Answer:	Ignore Carlos, he's a jerk. We all know what you're asking... I'd imagine with the right prep and such, this paint would bond to plastic.

Answer:	Not for a rookie painter's first project. Like any superior paint project, the secret is Prep, Prep, and Prep. I cleaned with Simple Green @ 50% solution first; next, roughed up with aluminum oxide sandpaper and wire brush; then brake cleaner (2 cans for 4 calipers) for final cleaning prep. Set up a good light so that you can see what you are doing inside the fender well. I use a 500 watt halogen work light.My front calipers on both cars are large 4 piston, fixed mount, with a lot of surface area. Plan on at least two coats, there is plenty of paint in the can for 8 calipers X 2 coats, with some left over to touch up chips later. Plan your brush stroke approach ahead, work from bottom to top (gravity may cause runs). Keep the wet edge of paint moving, as the paint dries very quickly; that's why you have to plan your stroke strategy, to minimize the width of the wet edge. Don't go back to cover a thin or missed spot for at least 20-30 minutes, it will stick and pull if you do. The directions on the package are ambiguously worded.I concur with other reviewers, get a decent brush, I used both 1/2 inch and 1 inch brushes. The packaging does not specify any thinner/solvent at all. I successfully used common mineral spirits paint thinner, both to thin the paint a little (use sparingly) if the humidity is low, and to clean brushes. Use a separate cup/bowl to apply from (don't use a Styrofoam coffee cup, the paint dissolves it). Pour from the paint can to your working cup/bowl (stir each time), so that you don't contaminate the unused paint and close the lid on the source can so that the source paint's thinner doesn't evaporate. Each caliper may take you 45 minutes to apply one coat. Make yourself comfortable with a stool or kneeling pad, this becomes a marathon job to do right. Putting the car on a lift makes the job easier than using jack stands. Don't forget to use newspaper or cardboard to protect the garage floor or driveway from paint drips... the stuff is hard to get off once it sets up.I had to move the cars after the 2nd coat had dried an hour. I was very careful mounting the wheels, as the freshly painted calipers would be very tender. I traveled at under 30 mph, with minimal brake use for 2 miles to my garage for the 24 hour drying time. That avoided heat and brake dust; it had no affect on the final quality. I am pleased with my results, close to concours quality.On previous cars, I used spray paint with good results, but color not as bright and glossy. This time I decided to save masking time (a lot of time to do a thorough and careful masking job) by using this brush on product. What I saved in masking time, I lost in painting time. Once masked, spray paint goes on quickly with good coverage. Applying with a brush and minimal masking requires a steady hand in some areas. Brushing the paint on is a tedious process. Each caliper may take you 45 minutes to apply one coat. My calipers are large, 4 piston, fixed mount. Make yourself comfortable with a stool or kneeling pad, this becomes a marathon job to do right. Answer:	Yes especially if it is an alloy box but if the box is made of wood you might want to seal and prime it with the high temperature primer first and make sure that there are no cracks before you go over it with the rust oleum high temp paint, for best results!

Answer:	I bought 6 cabs and did my gas grill inside and out. After it cured, I ran it for 30 minutes without food. I have a "holder" to grill fish so I am using that for all cooking so I and not cooking directly on the painted area. If after a month it holds up, I will do test cooking on it directly for the stray cats.

Answer:	You did not do anything wrong. This particular paint is not durable at all, but it withstands very very high temps. If you need high heat AND durability, then you need to look into some of the high heat Cerakote and Duracoat products, which are much more involved in applying than this is. I just answered another question on here, and in that answer I mentioned watching YouTube vids of ppl using this paint. In this vids, you'll see they are very delicate w the painted objects after cured when re-installing the object in a car engine compartment, for example. The ONLY thing this paint is good at is withstanding very high heat and being applied relatively easily and cheaply. Ps. I guess I should mention that this product is sometimes sold as an "enamel" but this particular paint is not truly what you'd call an enamel. Enamel implies high durability, and this does not have high durability.

Answer:	I would NEVER put paint n the inside of a grill. I have been grilling and smoking eat for 35 years. For the outside it's OK but never paint the inside. Get a round wire brush for your drill and brush it clean. Coat the inside of your grill with Canola oil. Oil and season it by cranking up the heat with no food. Let it get to a very high temp for at least 45 minutes to an hour for a proper seasoning. Then you will be ready to cook. Cleaning of the hood is not really required of a smoker or grill. Answer:	Yes. I've used it on my brake calipers and it works great. Depending on how much you drive you may have to touch it up to keep it bright every so often but that's going to happen regardless of what paint you use because brake dust, etc. I use this because its high temperature.
Question:	Is it OK to use a gray primer and then use a hot pink paint over top of the gray
Answer:	Primer of any kind will be good for a nice finish for whatever you are painting. I recommend 3 light coats of primer lightly sanded in between. When getting ready to apply you engine paint, beware, this is thick paint. It has heavy particulate matter which is the paint. I recommend that you turn the paint can upside down for 3 to 4 hours. This paint settles heavily. After several hours upside down, shake violently to get it mixed well. After that don't spray too close to your target surface. Do not spray at any temp less than 72 degrees fahrenheit, and spray evenly side to side about 5 to 6 inches, from surface.

Answer:	Not sure this answers your question but I can tell you from experience that this stuff really works. I used it on my aluminum engine top side and it's been 2yrs and my engine paint still look new to date.

Answer:	i used this product on my 4 pistion calipers and tested them at my campus garage, i tested it under constant and heavy braking, it withstood temps up too 1989F. The red paint i used has been on there for 3 years and i still havent had to touch up the paint

Question:	Is this paint very good for iron railing? Is it better then rust-oleum paint
Answer:	Dude....this paint is insane.... it’s pricey but after u see the finish product you won’t believe it with your own eyes... when using it use a foam brush.... I no your probably not like using that type of brush but a reg. Paint brush kind of shows the brush strokes. Also when this stuff dries it looks even better than when u first put it on.... I used this paint on my boat engine and also painted my boat trailer. Good luck bud. Joe

Answer:	Don’t think so! Why would you want to paint the inside of a gear box anyways????

Question:	It is glossy without the need of a clear coat? I was also considering smoothing the caliper with drimmel like a guy I saw on a video. suggestions
Answer:	Use within 48 hours after activating. After that it starts to activate and will not spray. Temperature may effect this time a bit.
Question:	is this color a lime green or more of a standard green color? i am trying to match up the paint of my car which is dragon green and bright
Answer:	Yes it will.
Question:	I have never seen paint that sticks well to metal without primer. Does this have a primer in the kit
Answer:	Depends on how big the car is...for a coupe you would probably need 50 cans because you would want to do more than 1 coat
Question:	I'm reading some people are using th VHT Caliper Clear Coat over this G2 kit, is it really needed
Answer:	Yes, I used it on my wheels and it worked great!
Question:	Is this fuel and oil resistant
Answer:	you get the 1 can and you use this over your base coat
Question:	Would this be appropriate for plastic parts in an engine compartment
Answer:	It takes atleast a can per wheel... Three to four coats and make sure u primer and use a 2k hardner clear coat or the paint will chip
Question:	Would this work on aluminum block engines or would there be another product for that
Answer:	I doubt it. I tried to use with whole allspice and unusually large peppercorns. Neither were small enough to pass into the teeth of the grinding orifice. I used my nutmeg grater for the large peppercorns and smashed the allspice.
Question:	What is the red button for and the brown spike on bottom of can
Answer:	My (Black) pepper mill did come in a box with a small brochure written in several languages. I was also concerned about the peppercorns included. After readind your review, I'm guessing they used a small amount of peppercorns to test the Mill.
Question:	Can I reused after I used the first time
Answer:	It's a painted surface. Not seasoned cast iron.
