When I went today, Costco was selling a box containing 2 of the 5 gallon jugs of full synthetic for $24.99, which is about half of what Bezos is charging for the exact same product. Answer:	Been running Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Fuel Economy in a 2014 Mazda 6 that's at 55,000 miles now, no known issues, changing it every 7500 miles as specified in the owners manual. In checking around at some Mazda forums back when the car was new, other than the bottles of factory Mazda oil available at the dealer counter, this oil seemed to be one of the consensus picks for SkyActiv engines. The factory Mazda oil has a molybdenum additive and is much more expensive than this Mobil 1. Some suggested getting a molybdenum additive to go with the Mobil 1, however I've never done this. (Note, if you go to a Mazda dealer for a synthetic oil change, it will almost certainly come from a giant tank of Castrol synthetic or whatever. Ask 'em. To get the pricey factory Mazda oil, you need to go to the dealer parts department).

Answer:	Be aware that "full" synthetic motor oil is not actually synthetic motor oil at all. It is a highly refined motor oil yes, but still comes from crude oil. A true 100% synthetic motor oil will say so on the bottle, (look for 100% synthetic wording) and will also set you back about $47 for 5 quarts. Walmart and such has both on the shelves, and the higher-priced stuff is true synthetic. This is just glorified motor oil that mobil is marketing differently. It's better than standard oil, but again it still comes from the ground, and NOT a 100% synthetic oil. Don't believe me just do some YouTube searches. Great marketing for sure, but don't fall for the hype. You are being suckered into thinking this is the real McCoy when it's not.

Answer:	It's likely not going to be on the VW certified list. But, 502/505.00 does mirror ACEA A3/B4 a lot. In the older manuals, pre-longitudinal 1.8T oil sludge, the manual did give you options, saying it needed to meet 502.00/505.00, ACEA A3/B4, or API CF-4 (older TDI's).

Answer:	Most likely this is the production date of the oil. As is have read online, most oil has a shelf life of 3 to 5 years and there are some manufacturers that state oil never expires. You may be able to check with Pennzoil, but I believe the shelf life is 5 years after which the additives start to drop out.

Answer:	The Subaru oil sold at the dealerships is made by Idemitsu. This product SP/GF-5 is actually an upgrade.I believe you can also use SN/GP-5. The important thing is that you purchase the correct oil viscosity. My car requires 0W-20 weight oil. You can find what viscosity you car requires in your owner’s manual or try to search for the answer using a search engine.
