Typically, in the context of automotive maintenance, motor oils are used for lubricating the engine's internal components, reducing friction, and dissipating heat. These motor oils come in various types, including conventional, synthetic, and high-performance options, each suited for different engines and driving conditions.Additionally, there are specific oils for other automotive systems like transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is 6 oz ok for my 80cc bike I have a 1 gal tank and I need 20:1 for after breaking in and 16:1 for breaking in need a response fast I need oil |
Answer: | you can make the mix what ever you want just read the mix instructions |
Question: | I have never used this before. Do i need to buy anything else for my trimmer |
Answer: | I assume you have a 2 cycle trimmer. Read the manual on the correct oil/gas mixture. Most American built trimmers use a 40:1 or 50:1 mixture. 40:1 is 2.6 oz. per gallon. A little less oil if 50:1. Chinese 2 cycle motors still use 25:1 or 20:1 oil mixture. Use 5.1 oz. of oil per gallon of gas for 25:1 or a little more if 20:1 mixture. |
Question: | How many gallons will this treat if one whole 16 oz bottle is used |
Answer: | I use 50:1. That takes 2 oz per gallon so I get 8 gallons per bottle. It is great having the squeeze section so you can precisely measure before filling gas can. |
Question: | What size (oz) is the measure cup on top? Say I neeeded 3.2 oz |
Answer: | It has numerous markings including 32 to 1 or 3.2 oz there is a graduated scale on the side, loosen the cap and squeeze gently until the desired amount is reached. Should you decide to go with this, I used a sharpie to highlight the markings to make then easier to read |

Question: | can this be used with an echo weed eater and leaf blower |
Answer: | Absolutely! Just make sure that the oil to gas mixture is correct for whatever the implement manufacturer recommends (most often times it's 40 to 1 (gas to oil). I have been using this product for years and my lawn implements have never failed. Top notch product! |
Question: | Does this stay suspended in high ethanol fuels like E |
Answer: | I dont know i use only whit normal gas |

Answer: | This is a marine oil product. I don't know. |
Question: | Is this oil synthetic or a synthetic blend type |

Six Pack Of Echo OEM 2.6 fl oz PowerBlend® XTended Life Oil
Part # 6450001
6 2.6 oz Bottles
1 Bottle to One Gallon of Gas
- Echo 6 Pack of 1 Gallon Power Blend Oil Mix (50:1) 6450001
User questions & answers
Question: | How do I make it 25:1 ratio |
Answer: | Usually the ratio is 50:1, that's a little container of two cycle oil (2.6 oz) to one gallon of gas. To make 25:1 use the 2.6 oz two cycle oil to a 1/2 gallon of gas. That's the simple way. I just got a two cycle engine that's Chinese made and this appears to be the trend so I tend to think it may be important to get the extra oil in the mix just to be safe. |
Question: | Does this product contain Fuel Stabilizer |
Answer: | Yes, it does contain Fuel Stabilizer. Great for off season to help jets from getting clogged and keeping fuel fresh. Highly recommended. Its what I use in all my 2 stroke motors. |
Question: | Is this a synthetic oil? If not I bought it for nothing |
Answer: | It states right on the bottle's label that it's a synthetic blend, which typically means it's part petroleum and part synthetic. I've been using the Echo branded 50:1 oil in my Echo weedeater (now 18 years old) and Echo leaf blower (now 20 years old), and with seasonal maintenance and proper care, both still start and run like they did when they were new. |
Question: | First time user...what are the directions |
Answer: | One gallon of gas to one 2.6 oz bottle of oil equals the 50 to 1 ratio. |

AMSOIL FULL SYNTHETIC Dominator 2-Cycle Oil
User questions & answers
Question: | Do you mix this with 93 octane |
Answer: | You can mix it with regular pump gas. Higher octane is for higher compression 2 strokes. If you dont have high compression higher octane will actually resist combustion. |
Question: | How much per gallon I can use it to make mix for week walker and all garden tools |
Answer: | 50:1 is 2.6 oz per gallon |
Question: | Is this like the original 2-cycle Amsoil where you can mix it up to a hundred to one |
Answer: | NO, this is great oil but you can't mix it at 100-1. This is Amsoil "Dominator" 2-cycle oil, and, though it will work in anything, it is formulated primarily for large, high-revving racing engines like motocross bikes and snowmobiles and it mixes at 50-1. The 100-1 Amsoil you are thinking of is called "Saber" and they recently stopped recommending that for anything other than small, low-revving engines like leaf blowers, string trimmers and maybe scooters and such. They have a great website that explains it all in better detail. |

Answer: | no its not |
Question: | Product features state “1 gallon bottle (pack of 3)”. Is Price for 3 gallons |
Answer: | It should be, right? I just got one 1-gallon jug. (I paid $31.95 at the time. Boating Accessories was the seller.) Walmart stores in my area sell this oil for about $10 a quart, so I felt I was getting a decent deal. It would have been a great deal if I would have received 3 jugs as advertised. |
Question: | is this oil for the boat |
Answer: | Yup, I use it in my 115 Mercury outboard. 4 stroke |
Question: | What's the difference between mercury oil |
Answer: | It is the same as Mercury oil. Quicksilver is the Mercury lubricant brand and has been for years. |
