Answer:	Depends on the application. AMG vehicles (newer ones) are standardized by Mercedes at 10,000 miles. The question is whether you want to run right up to the line. I personally change the oil on my S63 every 7500 miles. At that mileage the oil is a nice deep bronze color, slippery to the touch (without any gumminess), without any trace of a burnt smell, and no visible particulates. Check your owner's manual for your service interval, but don't fail to conduct your own inspections and follow the signs your motor is giving you.

Answer:	Been running Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Fuel Economy in a 2014 Mazda 6 that's at 55,000 miles now, no known issues, changing it every 7500 miles as specified in the owners manual. In checking around at some Mazda forums back when the car was new, other than the bottles of factory Mazda oil available at the dealer counter, this oil seemed to be one of the consensus picks for SkyActiv engines. The factory Mazda oil has a molybdenum additive and is much more expensive than this Mobil 1. Some suggested getting a molybdenum additive to go with the Mobil 1, however I've never done this. (Note, if you go to a Mazda dealer for a synthetic oil change, it will almost certainly come from a giant tank of Castrol synthetic or whatever. Ask 'em. To get the pricey factory Mazda oil, you need to go to the dealer parts department).

Answer:	Be aware that "full" synthetic motor oil is not actually synthetic motor oil at all. It is a highly refined motor oil yes, but still comes from crude oil. A true 100% synthetic motor oil will say so on the bottle, (look for 100% synthetic wording) and will also set you back about $47 for 5 quarts. Walmart and such has both on the shelves, and the higher-priced stuff is true synthetic. This is just glorified motor oil that mobil is marketing differently. It's better than standard oil, but again it still comes from the ground, and NOT a 100% synthetic oil. Don't believe me just do some YouTube searches. Great marketing for sure, but don't fall for the hype. You are being suckered into thinking this is the real McCoy when it's not.

Answer:	It's likely not going to be on the VW certified list. But, 502/505.00 does mirror ACEA A3/B4 a lot. In the older manuals, pre-longitudinal 1.8T oil sludge, the manual did give you options, saying it needed to meet 502.00/505.00, ACEA A3/B4, or API CF-4 (older TDI's).

Answer:	Yes, all motor oils do. It just doesn't have enough. This has between 600 and 800 ppm ZDDP. It has less every year. High lift flat tappet cam needs 1200ppm minimum. You can't just add ZDDP to modern oil. It causes massive sludge build up. I found this out first hand. Started getting low oil pressure in a high lift cam in a BBC. Engine was full of sludge. Had less than 20k miles and frequent oil changes. Oil pump pickup was clogged, along with the rest of the engine. Unfortunately, you should buy oil that has the proper concentration of ZDDP in the original blend. Its expensive, and conventional, not synthetic. No more flat tappet cams for me. Have to spend the $$ for roller conversions.

Answer:	Synthetic blend oil is 4 percent synthetic the rest conventional. That is all the requirement to label as a synblend. This is ideal for older engines and new ones. It contains 1000ppm of ZDDP. Almost all other oils on the market are at 600ppm which is way too low. Its as high as you can get without spending big bucks for specialty oils. Dump it in with a mobil 1 oil filter and change every 10k miles. Synthetic oil is conventional oil from the ground that has been re refined and enhanced, change back and forth without any issues. I run mobil 1 hm in 14 vehicles I am responsible for. They still suffer internal failures from the automakers sourcing their parts from the cheapest bidder and not hardening testing parts, and terrible timing chain manufacturers but at least the engine looks new inside.

Answer:	It's really up to you. I'm not completely sure if it's a seal conditioner additive that differentiates the extended performance from the regular mobil 1 but things tend to wear with age. I put it in my 2008 V8 Pathfinder which didn't have an oil leak issue and it works well. I converted over when it had about 90K on it. I also have a 19 year old car that was leaking oil and was significantly reduced when I used the Extended Mobil 1.

Answer:	Yes, it is. A3/B3 and A3/B4 rated oils are diesel rated oils. The B3 and B4 are light duty diesel ratings. If you are looking for heavy duty oil for a PS, Cummins or Dmax, then CJ-4 or the newer CK-4 rating will suffice.

Answer:	For my Ranger 800xp Polaris recommends their PS4 2w50 oil, but there's no such thing as 2w50. It's actually 5w50 which I use in mine. This oil should work fine.

Answer:	I use this for top ups on a 750 bhp Porsche Turbo S and use the 5W-40 for the oil changes... the combo seems to work perfectly on a car that I really hammer on a daily basis and on high speed runs

Mobil 1 15W-50 Motor Oil is formulated with Supers, an extra-high viscosity synthetic fluid, plus extra anti-wear additive to provide extra protection for severe service applications such as towing, hauling and racing. This motor oil is recommended for high performance vehicles including turbocharged and supercharged engines where a thicker oil film is desired. Mobil 1 15W-50 is also recommended for older valve train designs that may benefit from a higher level of anti-wear normally not required for newer generation vehicles. It will also provide better anti-wear protection for higher valve spring tensions in certain racing engines.

Motor oil is made from crude oil and is used to lubricate, clean, and cool engines. Types of motor oil include conventional, synthetic, diesel, bio-based, hybrid (blends of conventional and synthetic), and recycled oils. Motor oil varies in weight and viscosity, as well as additives that some manufacturers add to the oil during the refining process. A numerical code system created by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) grades motor oils according to viscosity--the higher the number between 0 and 60, the more viscous (thicker) the oil is. Most consumer motor oils are graded by two numbers, with the first number indicating cold weather (Winter or "W") performance.

Full Synthetic Oil

This oil is a full synthetic oil, meaning crude oil is not used in making it. Answer:	Mobil 1's warranty I think says you must change before 12 months or by OEM recommended mileage for oil change. Some Toyotas tell you 6 month or recommended mileage for oil change.
