Answer:	I use this stuff on all of the lug bolts for all of my cars. Works good. They will never bind up on you. This stuff is made partially out of aluminum anyways, so it won't stick and its always slippery. Been using it for at least 15 years and love it. I put it on ALL bolts and nuts, steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.

Answer:	if you look it up on you tube everyone says use less torque to tighten bolts since there is less friction and it lowers force necessary to remove bolts

Answer:	Yes, this is an option to apply to the brake pad backing to keep from galling to the piston cylinder, also retainers and contact areas where the pad slides in the caliper. Silicone grease is not a good option because it does not tolerate (and burns) >450F. High performance driving will push the brake pads past 800F.

Some manufacturers spark plugs recommend AGAINST the usage of the anti-seize... many modern plugs have coatings threads to avoid corrosion. Anti-seize usage is a carry-over from the days of "black"/uncoated plugs, like Autolites, which threaded into iron heads. I still use anti-seize today on plugs, just sparingly and the copper variety.

Answer:	Apparently there is quite some discussion on this. I think it depends on what kind of rubber the boots are made from. It seems that different manufacturers use different rubbers (silicone, butyl, neoprene and or other synthetic or natural rubber compounds) and they obviously not all compatible with this lube. - 1) Ask your manufacturer's dealer what they use; or 2) Contact Permatex and tell them the make, year and model of the vehicle and ask them about any compatibility issues with their product.

Answer:	Yes clean off the bolt, grease it and slide it back into the rubber boot.

Answer:	I use Permatex 24125 ceramic for pins on disc brakes because they can develop extreme heat. I would think this would be ok to use on a bicycle . It won't brake down like conventional grease. This is a quality product.

Answer:	This silicone is used for the caliper guide pin. If you need for brake pads, get the 3m copper anti seize grease.

Answer:	Ford X-3-G-A silicone brake caliper pin grease is recommended for Fords - it is compatible with EDPM rubber, which I fear your Ford may have (not Nitrile or Buna N rubber). For safety's sake, use a silicone grease (Ford's is $13.44 on Amazon) or another silicone brake caliper pin grease. The permatex grease is petroleum based and may swell and damage your seals. Oil resistant seals (like Buna N) would hold up to the grease, but Ford may not have used that rubber.
