User questions & answers
Question: | diesel engine, LPG engine all use |
Answer: | I would not recommend this for diesel engines, and would definitely not use it for an LPG-fueled engine. |
Question: | Will this Redline product damage my 02 sensors with LONG TERM use? No one seems to address this issue |
Answer: | 20 year auto tech. No. The O2 sensors are designed to detect changes in fuel. Specificly the air/fuel ratio. They are not as fragile as most people think. They in no way could be damaged by using this product. This is actually the only thing I use and can highly recommend when it comes to fuel additives. |
Question: | Is this product better than the much cheaper STP fuel cleaner |
Answer: | I'll tell you this the difference being only a few dollars considering this product is in the $10 range I wouldn't bother trying anything else. I'll admit I've never tried any other product, but 2,200 mile after the first use I still see a node improvement in the fuel economy and have the smooth acceleration. I'll he sticking to the every 5k recommended use. Hope this helps |
Question: | Can u detail the procedure how to use this product |
Answer: | Hold bottle in left hand. with right hand, twist cap counter clockwise. Break foil seal on bottle. (if you smoke, put the cigarette out before proceeding further)open gas tank door. remove gas cap (place in a location you remember to reinstall later.)Pour contents into gas tank. Replace gas cap. Drive as normal and it will clean injectors up as you drive. Enjoy a beer (AFTER you drive with enough time in between to sober up.)Call the fellas up and stand around drinking beer while admiring a fine product from Redline. (PEA is the main thing you want to clean things up, which Redline and Techron have the most)//I hope that is detailed enough\\ |

User questions & answers
Question: | How effective would this be for a 1980 Honda 750 four carb system |
Answer: | Highly effective. I’ve used this in my 1978 Honda CB350 and it worked wonders. Just make sure you change the plugs before adding to the gas tank. I give this product 5 star rating! |
Question: | I have a 2008 1200n efi. has anyone used this on their bike |
Answer: | I have a 2011 Ultra Classic. I first started using this product because it came as part of the Red Line Big Twin Powerpack (complete set of lubricants...crankcase, primary, transmission). Each time when I would do the 5,000-mile maintenance, I would add the Fuel Conditioner. My bike has always started easy and run good. Whether the Fuel Conditioner is helping with that...I don't know. But, I figure it can't hurt so I continue to use it. |
Question: | I don’t see any details , can someone tell me how much of this per gallon of gas is needed ? Thanks |
Answer: | Hello there the back of the bottle says that the 4 ounces treats up to 12 gallons thus the math would be .333 oz for 1 gallon. Good luck measuring that! |
Question: | will this work on a 2016 can am spyder rt with a 6.9 gallon (1 reserve) gas tank |
Answer: | Yes will work for it. When you get it I believe bottle treats up to a 12 gallon tank. Just figure the size gas tank you have and use the Appropriate amount of additive. I would run 2 full treated tanks threw for best results. |
