Question:	It's good to put it before fill up or after
Answer:	Dump it in at the pump before filling up. That way the fuel rushing into the tank will mix it in rather than dumping it in after filling. Eventually it'll attain uniform mixture but dump then pump will mix it right away.

Answer:	It says right on the bottle, you can add it in the crankcase 100-300 miles right BEFORE oil change.

Answer:	I just used Sea Foam in my oil for the first time. I have a 50 year old car with its original, never-rebuilt motor. The lifters have been tapping for awhile so I thought it was worth a try. I added Sea Foam to the crankcase oil according to the directions (1.5 oz. per quart of oil). I let the motor run for about 15 minutes. The lifter noise went away almost immediately. Afterwards, I changed the oil as normal. When I drained the old oil, it was noticeably thinner due to the presence of the Sea Foam. I added new oil and filter, and the engine runs like a top now. No more noise. This stuff is great.

I now average anywhere between 19.5 (city) and just under 25 (highway). I'm not sure just how much of a fuel increase can be contributed to this product, but I no longer go without it!

Answer:	Before an oil change you can also put it in oil to top off and help clean motor for oil change. I have only ran it for under 500 miles. You may have to drain a little oil depending how much you want to use. I would not put in at oil change but could be wrong. Like other replies it is great to put in a tank of gas too.

Answer:	I've used MMO for years. I personally use as an engine flush about 500-1000 miles before an oil change. Your motor oil will come out blacker than black. The only time I put it in after changing the oil is when I intend on shortening my oil change interval. For me, I want fluid/filter changed more often when you put additives in.
Question:	can this be used in a 2006 volvo s60 2.5T oil and gas mix
Answer:	Dear Dennis,I suppose your question comes to the right person. I owned Volvo's for about 20 years, even had a Volvo junkyard at one time, and was sort of the center of an ex-officio club. Only two years ago we got rid of our last Volvo. My wife got a Prius, and I got a retired Crown Vic police cruiser.To be specific. Yes; you can use MMO with the Volvo you mention. The MMO company recommends 4 oz. to each 10 gal. of gasoline. Keep in mind that adding it to fuel not only lubricates, it also cleans. So if your upper system is really dirty, I recommend adding less (not more) so as to not gunk up your plugs or have dirty exhaust coming out. So if you think your injectors or heads are dirty, start with 2 oz. per 10 gallons for about 20 gallons. Then go up to 4 oz. per 10 gallons. I am a trained musician, and it may seem strange, but this allows me to better know what is going on with an engine. I listen to the engine, and can tell if it needs more, or less. If it sounds noisy, use less. If it sounds quiet, you are okay and can try using a little more. But don't go above 4 oz. per 10 gallons unless you are using the stuff to clean a carb. MMO works for this, but just plain "Gum-Out" carb. cleaner does it better if this is what you need.MMO is expensive, and this makes people uneasy, but I've found that it actually cuts down on fuel consumption enough that it pays for itself.I am not as sold on it as an oil additive. I think it helps, but instead of adding a quart in place of a quart of regular oil, I just add about half a quart in place of half a quart of the regular oil.As for oil: It has always been indecipherable to me that some cars work better with some oils than others. I've known Chevy's that would hardly run on certain brands of oil, but then all you would have to do is change the oil to a different brand, and they would run fine. Why, I don't know, but every mechanic I've ever talked to about this knows the problem and has dealt with it. I say all this because I have found that the best oil, by far, for Volvo's is "Castrol" brand such as you can buy at many big department stores. I used 10-30 weight year-round. The specially formulated oil Volvo now is making works as well (not better, to my ear), and it sure costs a lot more. You can put Pennzoil in a Volvo and the lifters bang like crazy. Drain the oil out, put in Castrol, and that Volvo engine sounds quiet as a Rolls. But Castrol doesn't work well in my Chevy pickup. So go figure. I hope this helps. Answer:	Techron has a web site and a contact number to call. Unless someone has opened up the engine block and tested how this additive performs, they are just guessing. Granted, Techron may just be trying to sell you something that you do not need, or need every 3,000 miles.
Question:	it's a real pain to open Techron bottle's seal. do you guys have any tips on opening it easily
Answer:	Don't try to peel it off. Just pierce it through the center (not at the edge) with a sharp pointed blade, like one on a little Swiss Army keychain knife. Leave the slit alone and don't try to peel any of the seal off. If you just pierce it in the center and don't try to pull off or peel any pieces it will remain intact and tightly adhere to the bottle neck and thus continue to provide an effective seal when you close the cap.
Question:	I found an old unopened bottle of the original concentrate, not the Plus. Probably 10 years old. Is it still OK to use
Answer:	Yes, its fine to use. The ingredients don't go bad for maybe 20 plus years or more

Answer:	I use this on every fill up because it lubricates the upper cylinder which increases my gas mileage by about 9%. So it definitely pays for itself. Tho I buy it a gallon at a time and use the smaller bottle to pour into my gas tank. Also, I only put about 7 or 8oz in a 20 gallon tank. Too much of this stuff actually lowers gas mileage. I know from personal experience. If you're looking for a one-per-year cleaner, you really need to look at Techron. This Lucas Oil fuel treatment isn't a strong enough cleaner to use only once per year. I use Techron every other oil change to keep injectors and whatnot clean, but use this Lucas Oil treatment for MPG gains only (from lubricant affects).

It’s also easy to tell your fuel has been recovered by smell. He used all 150 gallons and even fueled up his 2018 Corvette with fuel from the tank.

Answer:	From my understanding it’s because the seller is in your state. When you buy product from seller or of state there are no taxes. That’s why the government is trying to pass new laws to be able to tax the products.

Answer:	This Rislone stuff works REALLY well, especially if you've never used a fuel system cleaner to clean your fuel lines & intake. To get the maximum cleaning effect, you should run your tank down to 1/5 of a tank, and THEN put in the whole bottle and drive your car around until you get down to only 25 miles left and THEN, fill up to ONLY a 1/2 tank. This is my only "system" and it's not what they say to do on the bottle. In essence, when you put the bottle in, with 1/2 a tank and THEN, filled up.....you just diluted the strength of that 1 x bottle, by adding all the extra fuel. Try doing what I suggested and it will clean your fuel lines out very very well plus any carbon buildup within your intake or combustion chamber. Good Luck.
