Question:	It's good to put it before fill up or after
Answer:	Dump it in at the pump before filling up. That way the fuel rushing into the tank will mix it in rather than dumping it in after filling. Eventually it'll attain uniform mixture but dump then pump will mix it right away.
Question:	I can run Sea Foam in the crankcase along with my oil at all times or just as a cleaner prior to changing the oil
Answer:	It says right on the bottle, you can add it in the crankcase 100-300 miles right BEFORE oil change.
Question:	how does it do in motor oil
Answer:	I just used Sea Foam in my oil for the first time. I have a 50 year old car with its original, never-rebuilt motor. The lifters have been tapping for awhile so I thought it was worth a try. I added Sea Foam to the crankcase oil according to the directions (1.5 oz. per quart of oil). I let the motor run for about 15 minutes. The lifter noise went away almost immediately. Afterwards, I changed the oil as normal. When I drained the old oil, it was noticeably thinner due to the presence of the Sea Foam. I added new oil and filter, and the engine runs like a top now. No more noise. This stuff is great.

Answer:	Techron has a web site and a contact number to call. Unless someone has opened up the engine block and tested how this additive performs, they are just guessing. Granted, Techron may just be trying to sell you something that you do not need, or need every 3,000 miles.
Question:	it's a real pain to open Techron bottle's seal. do you guys have any tips on opening it easily
Answer:	Don't try to peel it off. Just pierce it through the center (not at the edge) with a sharp pointed blade, like one on a little Swiss Army keychain knife. Leave the slit alone and don't try to peel any of the seal off. If you just pierce it in the center and don't try to pull off or peel any pieces it will remain intact and tightly adhere to the bottle neck and thus continue to provide an effective seal when you close the cap.
Question:	I found an old unopened bottle of the original concentrate, not the Plus. Probably 10 years old. Is it still OK to use
Answer:	Yes, its fine to use. The ingredients don't go bad for maybe 20 plus years or more

Answer:	Friend who owns small engine shop says it won't hurt to add more. Basic rule of thumb he said for me to use it 1 oz per gallon. Overkill yes but you'll never have issues.Better yet buy the highest obtain fuel you can get. In my case I use 93 octane fuel and use 1 oz per gallon. Again, have never had an issue, even with a chainsaw sitting for over 9+ months. Always starts on first/second pull.Do the same for cars that I have let sit in storage. Even at 87 octane. Still do an oz per gallon especially with the ethanol mix (10% here).Make sure to mix and then run engine so Stabil is in the fuel lines all the way up to the engine. It does no good if you just put Stabil in the tank but it is not in the carb or injectors.

Answer:	Loosen the cap on the stem by pressing down on it while turning. Make sure that the other cap is tight.Squeeze container slightly and you will see liquid flow up the tube on the side and into the stem.It might be necessary to loosen the cap on the main container to allow air in to replace the liquid dispensed to the stem.

I now average anywhere between 19.5 (city) and just under 25 (highway). I'm not sure just how much of a fuel increase can be contributed to this product, but I no longer go without it!

Answer:	I use this on every fill up because it lubricates the upper cylinder which increases my gas mileage by about 9%. So it definitely pays for itself. Tho I buy it a gallon at a time and use the smaller bottle to pour into my gas tank. Also, I only put about 7 or 8oz in a 20 gallon tank. Too much of this stuff actually lowers gas mileage. I know from personal experience. If you're looking for a one-per-year cleaner, you really need to look at Techron. This Lucas Oil fuel treatment isn't a strong enough cleaner to use only once per year. I use Techron every other oil change to keep injectors and whatnot clean, but use this Lucas Oil treatment for MPG gains only (from lubricant affects).

Answer:	I have a neighbor who had a 200 gallon tank 3/4 full of old fuel. He treated the whole tank with startron and I suspect he over dosed a. It knowing him. He let the tank set for about 30 hours and the whole tank was treated and acceptable when he opened the spigot on the tank. It’s easy to tell bad fuel by the smell. It’s also easy to tell your fuel has been recovered by smell. He used all 150 gallons and even fueled up his 2018 Corvette with fuel from the tank.

Obviously no mower tank is 2.5 gallons so people automatically revert to thinking to mix it into their red 2.5 gallon gas container. Answer:	I would not recommend this for diesel engines, and would definitely not use it for an LPG-fueled engine.
Question:	Will this Redline product damage my 02 sensors with LONG TERM use? No one seems to address this issue
Answer:	20 year auto tech. No. The O2 sensors are designed to detect changes in fuel. Specificly the air/fuel ratio. They are not as fragile as most people think. They in no way could be damaged by using this product. This is actually the only thing I use and can highly recommend when it comes to fuel additives.
Question:	Is this product better than the much cheaper STP fuel cleaner
Answer:	I'll tell you this the difference being only a few dollars considering this product is in the $10 range I wouldn't bother trying anything else. I'll admit I've never tried any other product, but 2,200 mile after the first use I still see a node improvement in the fuel economy and have the smooth acceleration. Answer:	Hold bottle in left hand. with right hand, twist cap counter clockwise. Break foil seal on bottle. (if you smoke, put the cigarette out before proceeding further)open gas tank door. remove gas cap (place in a location you remember to reinstall later.)Pour contents into gas tank. Replace gas cap. Answer:	I put this fuel treatment in my 2 cars, my motorcycle and my gas cans that are used for mowers and snowblower. Now, I broke down how much to use for each size gas tank of cars and M.C. Your concerned about your snowblower. So a 5 gallon empty gas can that I USE takes( U do the math as my figures are in the garage and 10inches of snow is outside, sorry) ) Its simple if you get a graduated eye dropper and put your eye dropper into the star Tron and take out the exact amount you figured out and put into the gas can. Fill up the 5 gallon can with gas and it's good for 2years and use in you snowblower, mowers and other 4cycle engines. Doing this you will protect all your engines if you want to protect against harm from the ethanol that we are forced to use. You snow blower will show improvement immediately if the gas is the only problem. I use high test in that gas can right now as I was having trouble with my snow blower because of what ever gas the dealer used. It smelled like old gas in my new snow blower. After I put the new gas from my 5gallon can it ran perfect today in the 10inches we got. Ok fella. It's your choice once in awhile or continued use.

Answer:	If you have any small gasoline powered equipment such as hedge trimmer, chain saw, weed wacker, etc, you must, MUST use this type of additive to counter the damaging effects of ethanol in your gas. I found Star Brite to be both easy to use and totally effective. I also use premium gas in my higher end stuff like Sthil.
