Answer:	i don't know if you are supposed to use vc-8 to recondition pre charged coolant. I Use Havoline green HD conventional coolant that is not pre charged and same with gold.

Answer:	If you are changing the coolant, just purchase coolant with the additive already in it. If you are intent to use standard antifreeze, it will take four bottles of the VC-8 to get you in the protected range according to test strips. Once you have established protection, test your antifreeze yearly with test strips and ad VC-8 if needed.

Answer:	I use the VC8 with old school green anti freeze. I do know if you can use it with the VC12/ gold? I would check the specs of VC12

Answer:	The gold doesn't need it unless your nitrate level gets below 800ppm. This is for the early diesels running green. Answer:	I use this additive with the oil change on my FORD EXPEDITION using MOBIL 1 Synthetic oil. It will not void the warranty as long as you don't mention that you used it .It is a very expensive process using a mass spectrometer and a atomic absorption analyzer to prove that an additive was used . Answer:	Think about what you're saying. If one can is designed and tested to work with 5 liters, 2 cans would work properly with 10 liters. You do not have 10 liters of oil which means you will have too much additive in the system. Even the best additive in the world, is still an additive. Not enough additive is better than not enough oil in the mix. Also this stuff lasts for 30,000 miles. So save your new can, do a few oil changes, add the new can with oil a couple changes down the road.

Question:	It's good to put it before fill up or after
Answer:	Dump it in at the pump before filling up. That way the fuel rushing into the tank will mix it in rather than dumping it in after filling. Eventually it'll attain uniform mixture but dump then pump will mix it right away.

Answer:	It says right on the bottle, you can add it in the crankcase 100-300 miles right BEFORE oil change.

Answer:	I just used Sea Foam in my oil for the first time. I have a 50 year old car with its original, never-rebuilt motor. The lifters have been tapping for awhile so I thought it was worth a try. I added Sea Foam to the crankcase oil according to the directions (1.5 oz. per quart of oil). I let the motor run for about 15 minutes. The lifter noise went away almost immediately. Afterwards, I changed the oil as normal. When I drained the old oil, it was noticeably thinner due to the presence of the Sea Foam. I added new oil and filter, and the engine runs like a top now. No more noise. This stuff is great.

Answer:	OK I put 2 cans in my Ferrari it holds 12 quarts it quiets the lifters very well. I put 1 and half cans in My Mercedes it holds about 9 quarts. It does very well in the Mercedes I have a little lifter tick. I have a Dodge Diesel Pickup it holds about 10 quarts quarts I use one can for that. I use other Liqui Moly products and my vehicles. The instructions say use one can for 6.3 quarts using more that then recommended mix is not suggested. I would get some Liqui Moly products like the engine Flush. I suggest you flush the engine very well get rid of the sludge and the oil passage ways and add the correct Mix you will have good results. It makes my tick go away in my Mercedes and Quiets my other cars very nicely. Two cans my be be over kill if your car has a little oil tank. Hope this helps.

Answer:	This product should work for any machinery that has a lubricating system. It is recommended for engines that have at least 40K miles on it under normal operating conditions. Just be sure you use the appropriate sized container for your engine, whether 4, 6, or 8 cylinder.

Answer:	Blue smoke indicates oil burning. The question is how is the oil getting into the combustion chamber. Most times it's due to valve seals, but it could also be due to worn cylinder walls, bad rings or a head gasket failure. 1. Valve seals problem solution. Replace the valve seals - could be an expensive fix. Or try some chemical to swell the seals, but it's not a permanent fix. 2. Worn cylinder walls solution. This could work, as long as the wear isn't too bad. Restore will fill in some of the scratches in the cylinder and reduce the blue smoke - maybe even eliminate it. 3. Bad rings solution. Try running some engine cleaner through the fuel - Seafoam is a good one to try. If the rings are sticking, you may get lucky and it could clear up the problem. 4. Head gasket solution. If there's no white smoke coming out, then only oil is leaking past the head gasket. The only fix is to replace the head gasket, which is costly. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Well, you do not; but you might consider it or wait until your oil change. Though you don't have to do it, S-50 lengthens the oil life and coats engine parts, so you might want to add it at your oil change, unless you just changed it in say 500 to 1000 miles. However, if you want to add it to dirty oil, it will not hurt...your choice.

Answer:	I am using it with 0W oil. Seems to be ok.

Answer:	It should work most any gasoline engine. Do not over fill the oil crank-case. Helps best for me for the cold winter mornings when start-ups are these noticed. This stuff does not fix anything, but it seems to help with engine cold starts.

Answer:	I had an old Toyota with oil leaks. I used Slick50 for many years and it didn't effect the leaks at all. But it was a 20+ year old car. I don't think the stuff is made for repairing leaks, anyway, once they're there.
