Answer:	If you fill at half a tank you would be at 17 1/2 gallons. I use this product in my older Diesel Farm Tractor. My Tank holds 9 gallons and I usually fill it when it get just a little below half a tank. I top it off with 5 gallons and add 2 ounces of this product. If I recall correctly the label show a 16 ounce bottle treating 40 gallons. I think you would be just about right with adding a half of a 16 ounce bottle if you are refilling with you reach half a tank. So far I have no complaints using this product. My old tractor seems to have more power then it ever had.
