Answer:	This is because Amazon grouped together answers for both the KT100 and KT196. I have updated the previous answers. The KT100 (3HP) has a weight limit of 150lbs, and the KT196 (6.5HP) has a weight limit of 400.

As far as i have looked you can't adjust/govern maximum speed without an added device. But it doesn't go crazy fast anyway.

Answer:	I have no idea, but I purchased 2 other brands before this one and it is by far, the best. The other 2 had to be returned. The only problem I see is that the straps break easily, but I think they will with any hovercraft. They have wonderful customer service and sent a whole bunch more. If you are debating on which to buy, in my opinion and my 9 year old's, this is the one.
