Answer:	Yes, but it can be cut down if necessary. I do not have a "Vega" jacket, but I was able to cut the back protector down to fit my jacket. The shoulder and elbow protectors could be cut down if needed, however they have pretty large slits pre cut for flexibility and comfort. Hope this helps!

Answer:	You are correct it is not removable. I have these pants and they are great for winters in Maryland. I have worn them from 50 to26 degrees and they work great.

Answer:	I personally would not be wearing these pants in weather above 70 degrees. These pants are insulated and will not come out like a liner would. Yes, there are zipper vents but they are blocked by the water barrier.

Answer:	Hi, Amazon has asked me to assist. My advice should be used only as a reference. I m sure the seller would be more accurate helping you out with the correct sizing. My thoughts are that this type of protective gear should be worn fairly tight to protect a rider from getting rash, burn from sliding down the asphalt in a fall which could be nasty. But the fitment should be neither super tight like the Under Armour base layer compression nor snug. In case of an accident the snug fit tends to flip around which leads to a lack of protection to the rider. I've been wearing a 2XL which is snug in the shoulder, waist area. Just didn't bother to get an exchange yet. I m 165lbs, 32" waist, height 5'9". You are a big guy. 2XL should fit you right. Just make sure to clear it with the seller. The product quality is awesome have no complaints so far. MADE IN CHINA.

Answer:	I will be honest, it also depends on your mass. I'm 6'4 and 220 lbs. I had to get a 3x which is xxx. Medium chest wide back and if you a bit muscular and needs comfort get the xxx. If snug with a bit flex try the 2x. The back plate is detachable, your shoulder and elbow guards are adjustable with straps and clips. I also recommend you invest in to the knee and shin guards it's also worth it. I had been side swiped on September 28 the. Took a spill and my motorcycle got damaged and I got up after a duck , roll then slide. Brushed of with no serious damage, not even a scratch.
